Sheffield Wednesday have signed striker Jamal Lowe on an undisclosed-length deal following his release from Premier League club Bournemouth.
The 29-year-old Jamaica international, who had been with the Cherries for three seasons, becomes Owls boss Danny Rohl’s fifth summer signing.
After starting his career in League Two with Barnet, Lowe played non-league football for Hayes & Yeading, Hitchin, St Albans City, Farnborough, Hemel Hempstead and Hampton & Richmond before joining Portsmouth in 2017.
He then spent a season each at Wigan Athletic and Swansea City before joining Bournemouth in August 2021
He has made just 12 starts for the Cherries in that time, as well as 28 substitute appearances, scoring seven times.
But he has had two more loans, at Queens Park Rangers, in the second half of the 2022-23 season, before hitting 10 goals in 35 appearances back at Swansea in 2023-24 - scoring in both games against the Owls.
