Burton Albion have signed defender Alex Hartridge from Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee and brought in midfielder George Evans after he was released by Wrexham.
Hartridge, 26, only played 16 games for the Chairboys after joining them in the summer of 2024 and spent the second half of last season on loan back at his previous club, Exeter City.
Hartridge and 30-year-old Evans, who had his contract with Wrexham terminated by mutual consent earlier on transfer deadline day, have both agreed one-year contracts with the Brewers.
Evans, a League Two and League One promotion winner with the Welsh club, also has a further 12-month option on his contract at the Pirelli Stadium.
The Brewers are at home to Liverpool's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday and do not have another league game until they host Lincoln City on 13 September.
The pair join a Burton side 18th in the table, with four points from five games.
