Bournemouth have agreed a £12.6m fee with Juventus for defender Dean Huijsen.

The deal could rise to £15.2m for the centre-back, who is now due to have a medical with the Cherries.

The 19-year-old is poised to become the Premier League side's sixth summer signing after Luis Sinisterra, Enes Unal, Alex Paulsen, Daniel Jebbison and Koby Mottoh.

Huijsen was born in the Netherlands and played internationally for their age groups until Under-19 level.

He moved to Spain when he was five years old and gained Spanish citizenship this year, making his Under-21 debut in March.

Huijsen started his career at Costa Unida and moved to Malaga in 2015 before joining Juventus three years ago, initially playing for their Under-17s.

He made his debut against AC Milan in October, his only appearance, before spending the second half of last season on loan at Roma, making 13 appearances and scoring twice.
