Forwards Josh Windass and Michael Smith have left Sheffield Wednesday after the club said their contracts had been ended "by mutual consent".
Windass, 31, who scored the Owls' winning goal against Barnsley in the 2023 League One play-off final, featured in 163 league games, scoring 46 goals.
Smith, also a member of that promotion-winning side, scored 29 times in 111 league appearances after moving to Hillsborough in 2022.
The 33-year-old had previously won promotion to the Championship twice as a Rotherham player.
Windass and Smith follow winger Djeidi Gassama, who signed for Rangers earlier this week, through the exit door.
In a statement, the club said: "Sheffield Wednesday thank Michael and Josh for their services and wish them well for the future."
