Barrow bring in Barnes and Mahoney

Connor Mahoney scored seven goals in 42 appearances on loan at Gillingham last season

Barrow have signed defender Sam Barnes and winger Connor Mahoney.

Barnes, 23, has signed a one-year deal after being released by Blackburn earlier this summer.

Mahoney, 27, who has signed a two-year contract, reunites with the Bluebirds' new head coach Stephen Clemence after playing under him last season on loan at Gillingham from Huddersfield.

"I'm now just really excited for what the future holds," Mahoney told the club website.
