Alfa-Ruprecht completes Leverkusen move

Manchester City have sold academy winger Farid Alfa-Ruprecht to Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth up to £5m.

The 19-year-old did not make a first team appearance for City but won the PL2 competition last season.

City have inserted a 50% sell-on clause in the deal.

In a post on his social media earlier this week, Alfa-Ruprecht thanked the club for helping him develop as a footballer and a person.
