Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola does not believe FA Cup success will totally salvage a poor season - but his team selection for this quarter-final at Bournemouth makes it clear he wants this trophy badly.
Stefan Ortega, Rico Lewis, Nico Gonzalez, Savinho, Omar Marmoush and Jeremy Doku are out from the side that drew with Brighton and in come keeper Ederson, Matheus Nunez, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Mateo Kovacic and Kevin De Bruyne.
Bournemouth make three changes from the home defeat to Brentford. Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez are both suspended. Julio Soler and Marcos Senesi come in, Senesi is playing his first game since November while David Brooks is in for Marcus Tavernier.
