Highlights: Falkirk 1-2 Raith Rovers (AET)
Raith Rovers got the better of Championship rivals Falkirk after extra time in a pulsating Scottish Cup fourth-round tie.
Despite Raith having the better of the first half, second-tier leaders Falkirk went in front through Callumn Morrison after a horrendous Sam Stanton mistake after 79 minutes.
The midfielder was short with a pass back and Ross McIvor intercepted before playing in Morrison, who tapped home from close range.
However, Raith substitute Stanton struck five minutes before the end - wheeling to lash in after a corner wasn't cleared - of the 90 to force a supplementary half hour.
And the winner came in the second period of extra-time from the penalty spot when Dylan Easton fired home after Sean Mackie pulled down Josh Mullin.
Raith then held firm amid late Falkirk pressure - Calvin Miller and Michael McKenna both spurning opportunities for an equaliser - to earn a place in Monday's last-16 draw.
Falkirk manager John McGlynn: "Their formation knocked us off our stride. But we tweaked things at half-time and dominated the second half so we're disappointed that we didn't put the game to bed and at least hold out.
"Extra time, again we've been more dominant. A ball over the top, a shot, it breaks and then the two of them go for the ball and give a penalty away."
Raith Rovers manager Barry Robson: "The performance from us in the first half was outstanding. We could have been a couple of goals up.
"I thought our pressing, our transition, the way we moved the ball was fast. And I think the mentality from the players in the end was outstanding to go on and win it. Anyone at home will do in the next round."
