Olivia Smith needs to do better there. She does really well down the right wing but she doesn't look up to see who's in the box and she blazes her cross over everyone.

Alessia Russo was free in plenty of space.

    Man City 1-1 Arsenal

Manchester City have struggled to get a hold of the ball since half-time.

Their intensity has dropped off a bit and Arsenal are pinging passes around with no problem at all.

Alessia Russo receives the ball with her back to goal and she can't find the target after turning and taking aim.

Right, let's see what you lot think. Which way is this one going to go?

Thumbs up for a Manchester City win. Or thumbs down if you reckon Arsenal will clinch the three points.

It's been a slow start for Man City. They were a bit cold coming out for the second half, and they look like it.

They're going to have to pick it up.

Emily Fox goes for the safe option, poking the ball out for a throw in to stop Khadija Shaw from stealing the ball away and forcing another chance.

We should be in for a very interesting second half here.

We spoke about the team talk, didn't we? And what a team talk that must've been.

They came straight out in this second half and rifled one into the top corner from Mariona Caldentey.

Great goal, great start and game on.

    The perfect start!

Arsenal, keen to get themselves back in the game, burst forward with pace and Emily Fox cuts the ball back perfectly for Mariona Caldentey to lash home.

The Spaniard was in acres of space.

Huge, huge 45 minutes coming up for Arsenal.

Best-case scenario, you come out with three points. Worst-case scenario, you don't lose ground too much, and you keep pace with that top five group.

Huge 45 minutes for Arsenal to try and get something out of this game, a point minimum.

As I was saying earlier, managers seem to have their favourites who are 'undroppable' - Slegers is no different - how Kelly can't get into this team I have no idea and as for McCabe...

    Scott

Seems like Slegers still hasn't learnt from the United and Villa games. Far too slow and lethargic again!

What a start to the season it has been for Khadija Shaw.

Four goals and an assist in her last four games. Already on course for a third successive WSL golden boot.

No physicality or pace in midfield for Arsenal. Lovely on the eye but no cutting edge going forward and no legs to support the defence.

    Niamh Fahey

Arsenal let Man City into the game because they were playing it around at the back when they didn't need to.

They're architects of their own problems at the moment. Maybe they need to play more direct to Alessia Russo and get a foothold in this game again.

That sums up Arsenal's performance. There's only seconds left in this opening half, but they're far too slow to get the ball into the box.

City have had three times as many shots as the Gunners, and it's the hosts who head into the break on top.

Goalscorer Khadija Shaw looks to be in a bit of pain as she's caught late by Lotte Wubben-Moy.

She receives some medical attention before limping off the pitch rather gingerly, but it looks like she'll be able to continue.

Aoba Fujino has looked great in this first half, but there's too much power in her strike from the edge of the box and the ball skews over the bar.
