What a welcome sight it was for England fans to welcome back Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp and Georgia Stanway on Friday.

"Of course it's really nice to see them back," said Sarina Wiegman. "They have worked so hard to get to where they are right now and that is what they showed.

"I'm really happy with that. Of course we need to keep building. The Euros is really coming close but, at the same time, we want to perform in the Nations League so we have to find that balance."

Aggie Beever-Jones really announced herself and put her case forward to Sarina Wiegman so she knows she is capable of starting at the Euros this summer.

She has got the versatility, she can play on the right or left and she's proven now she can play in central areas. What makes her so dangerous is she is constantly on the move, she is hunting for the right opportunity to pounce on defenders. She times her runs really well. She is rarely offside. She is a true goalscorer, putting herself about, making herself a nuisance and trying to put that ball in the back of the net.

  3. 'I hope I'm giving the right people the right headaches'published at 12:39 British Summer Time 2 June

Spain v England (Tues, 18:00 BST)

Sarina Wiegman will no doubt provide a fitness update on Alessia Russo, who missed Friday's win over Portugal through injury.

Aggie Beever-Jones had big shoes to fill replacing the in-form Arsenal forward, but did so in style as she scored a first-half hat-trick at Wembley.

"Whenever I'm playing for England I just hope I'm giving the right people the right headaches," Beever-Jones said after the game.

"I'm focusing on the current and the now and doing the best I can when I am given opportunities. I wouldn't want anyone else for competition. Alessia [Russo] is an incredible player, I learn so much off her and the whole frontline.

"I'm a versatile players and if I am in the squad this summer hopefully I can contribute where I can."

It all comes down to this.

If England beat Spain, they'll be heading to the Nations League semi-finals in October.

But, avoiding defeat for world champions Spain will see them book their spot in the last four instead.

    No pressure, eh?

I'm in Spain as we wait to hear from both camps at the RCDE Stadium before tomorrow's showdown.

All of the Lionesses squad trained at lunchtime, while Spain's players will arrive here later this evening.

Speaking to some of the Spanish journalists, they are a little concerned at how well England played on Friday.

They were back to their best - albeit against a poor-performing Portugal side - in their 6-0 win at Wembley.

It means victory tomorrow in Barcelona will confirm them as winners in the Women's Nations League.

Likewise, should Spain avoid defeat, they will win the tournament as they already have a two-point lead over England.

But some of the Spanish journalists say "without the ball they have not been so good" and they think England will be stronger with Lauren Hemp, Alex Greenwood and Georgia Stanway all back in the squad.
