Jack Moylan came off the bench to score as Lincoln earned a draw with Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.
The midfielder had only been on the pitch five minutes for the high-flying Imps when he cancelled out Shaq Forde's opener on 64 minutes with a low, angled shot beyond goalkeeper Josh Griffiths.
Ex-Watford winger Forde had put Rovers in command on 35 minutes in classy style, winning possession before curling a low 20-yard shot that beat outstretched goalkeeper George Wickens' dive.
Michael Skubala's side responded well but were denied an equaliser before the break when Jovon Makama rounded Griffiths only for Connor Taylor to come to the rescue with a last-ditch challenge.
After Moylan's equaliser, Lincoln looked likely to take all three points but lacked punch in attack as Matt Taylor's defence held firm.
Substitute Freddie Draper's header that was easily saved by Griffiths was the closest the visitors came to victory.
