The Daily Mirror's headline writers dip into their big book of puns as they also focus in on England's squad for Euro 2024. According to the paper to the paper's chief football writer John Cross both Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish "are in serious danger" of missing the tournament. The story adds that "Manchester United forward Rashford is badly out of form while Manchester City wide-man Grealish has been plagued by injury".

The Daily Telegraph lead with a story about the boat race on the front of their sports section, but there's still space for a line about Marcus Rashford as well. According to the paper the Manchester United striker Rashford "is in a fight to hold on to his place in the England squad for Euro 2024 over the remaining weeks of the season".

The paper adds that England are set to travel to Germany "without either Rashford or Raheem Sterling, who have played in nine major tournaments for the Three Lions between them".
