Match Facts
This will be just the third meeting between Feyenoord and Internazionale in major European competition, with the Dutch side winning 3-2 on aggregate in the pair’s prior UEFA Cup semi-final tie during the 2001-02 season.
Feyenoord have lost just one of their 12 home games in European competition against Italian sides (W7 D4), with the exception coming in a 2-1 defeat to Roma during the 2014-15 UEFA Europa League.
Internazionale are unbeaten across their last 11 games against Dutch sides in European competition (W7 D4), since a 1-0 defeat to Feyenoord in April 2002.
Internazionale have only lost three of their last 23 matches in the UEFA Champions League (W14 D6), and have only conceded more than one goal on three occasions in this run (12 conceded in 23 games overall).
Having eliminated Milan in the play-off round, Feyenoord could become just the fourth side to beat both Milan and Internazionale in the same UEFA Champions League campaign, after Tottenham in 2010-11, Liverpool in 2021-22 and Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Internazionale have only conceded one goal in eight UEFA Champions League games in 2024-25, fewer than any other side. Overall, Inter have kept a clean sheet in 59.5% of their games in the competition under Simone Inzaghi (22/37); the highest percentage for any manager with 30+ games in charge of a club in the Champions League.
Feyenoord have converted 13 of their 19 big chances in the UEFA Champions League this season, with their conversion rate (68%) the highest of any side in the competition in 2024-25. On the other hand, Internazionale have only scored 25 percent of their big chances (7/28); the lowest conversion rate of any side remaining in the current edition.
Internazionale have the oldest starting XI in terms of average age in the UEFA Champions League this season (29 years and 320 days). Indeed, of the six instances of a team naming an XI with an average age of 30+ in the competition this term, half of them have been by the Italian side (3/6).
Lautaro Martínez could become Internazionale’s all-time top scorer in the European Cup/UEFA Champions League, with the Argentinean currently level with Sandro Mazzola on 17 goals.
Igor Paixão has been directly involved in six goals in 10 games for Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League this season (two goals, four assists), while no player has ever been involved in more in a single edition for the Dutch side (Santiago Giménez also in 6 this season).
