Vivianne Miedema scored on her Manchester City debut to help her side to a commanding lead over Paris FC in their Champions League second round qualifier.
The Dutch striker, who joined in the summer after seven years at Arsenal, put her side ahead in the 36th minute with an expert volley after some fine work by Jess Park on the right.
England international Park then got herself on the scoresheet two minutes later following a sublime backheel by Lauren Hemp in the box.
City travelled to Paris without record goalscorer Khadija Shaw after they failed to file a visa application.
But she was not missed as Mary Fowler added a third for Gareth Taylor's side in the 49th minute after home goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie pondered on the ball and the Australian pounced to tap in from a yard out.
Park added her second of the evening - and City's fourth - despite Nnadozie brilliantly keeping out Hemp's header, before substitute Chloe Kelly bundled in from close range 11 minutes from time.
Paris FC, who knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League at the same stage last season, struggled in the first-leg tie at Stade Charlety and Clara Mateo had their best chance, but was denied as City’s debutant keeper Ayaka Yamashita dived low to her right to ensure a clean sheet.
City will welcome Paris FC to the Joie Stadium on Thursday, September 26 for the return leg.
