Slovakia v Ukraine (14:00 BST)
- Ukraine have won three of the eight meetings (D3, L2) against Slovakia though the teams have never met at a major tournament before.
- Slovakia have won 10 of their last 14 matches in all competitions (D1, L3) - their previous 10 victories spanned 38 games.
- They won their opening match at Euro 2020 but lost their subsequent two fixtures, conceding six unanswered goals and failing to advance as one of the best third-placed teams.
- Ukraine are in danger of losing consecutive matches for the first time since a run of three defeats in November 2020 (to Spain, France and Germany).
- Ukraine lost 3-0 to Romania despite having 71.3% possession (as measured by Opta) – it’s the first time since Opta began collating such data in 1980 that a team has conceded three times at the Euros with over 70% possession.
