Thun's Stockhorn Arena has a capacity of 8,100 for Euro 2025

The official number of tickets sold to supporters from each team is 1,500 for Iceland and 650 for Norway.

A great turnout from Iceland despite already being eliminated from the tournament.

With 15 minutes to kick-off there are still plenty of empty seats, but there must be a lot of neutrals in here tonight based on those numbers...

There's a lot on the line for Finland tonight but their fans are determined to enjoy themselves in Geneva - whatever the result.

After Iceland's loss to Switzerland and their elimination from Euro 2025, players were asked what they think about the future of head coach Thorsteinn Halldorsson, much to his dismay.

The question was brought up again in his pre-match news conference and the 57-year-old made his feelings quite clear

"I’m not going to answer," he said.

"I think it’s weird and absurd to ask a player after a game whether they want to keep the coach. It’s a wrong question and a rude question.

"You can ask me, but to ask a player is stupid. Players have nothing to say about the coach. You put the player in a bad position. Players are not thinking about this at this point."

For most teams playing in this tournament, all these venues are neutral venues but when you're playing against Switzerland it is an away game for you.

Finland did play well against Norway, I thought they were really good but this is now the ultimate test because now there is something on the line.

I think Switzerland need the crowd, I think it’s that extra player for them.

The Swiss fans have been fantastic, they have really got behind their team, even in that opening game when they were behind against Norway.

It is about controlling that emotion. They know a win is all they need to progress.

Switzerland coach, Pia Sundhage, says her side, who currently sit second in the table on goal difference, will have to switch up the game plan tonight.

"We can't do the same thing as in the last two games because Finland is a different team.

"What we have done is prepare the team so we have a plan A, a plan B and a plan C. We will bring out the best performance in each other and make sure that whoever is starting the starting line-up, as well as the players coming off the bench, can make the result a positive one."

Finland coach, Marko Saloranta, was disappointed with his team's 2-1 defeat to Norway but says his side "now just need to get over it".

"We have not lost anything yet, and everything is in our own hands. Before the EURO, we had a clear goal and that was to get further than the group stage. That has not changed and now it will mean we need to take three points on Thursday.

"The atmosphere in the first two games has been fantastic and I am sure it will be even better when we play against the host nation in a fully packed stadium. We are really looking forward to a great evening."

I’ve met loads of England fans out and about in Thun today, with Lionesses, Manchester United and Arsenal shirts all on show.

Iris pictured below is in Switzerland with her dad and I overheard their accents when near the fan zone.

She is rooting for Norway tonight and is decked out in their colours.

“I am a Chelsea fan and Guro Reiten is my favourite player,” she told me when asked why.

Reiten, who starts on the bench, has one assist so far at Euro 2025. Will she get on the scoresheet tonight?

Through to the quarter-finals: Spain, Norway, Germany, Sweden.

Heading home after the group stage: Iceland, Belgium, Denmark, Poland.

Everything to play for: Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Portugal, France, England, Netherlands, Wales.

The opening 16 games at Euro 2025 have produced 49 goals and been watched by an aggregate attendance of 303,325 fans, making the average crowd 18,957.

Highest attendance so far is 34,165 for Germany's win over Denmark at St Jakob-Park, Basel, on 8 July. The lowest is 7,376 for Norway's 2-1 victory over Finland in Sion on 6 July.

Switzerland

Switzerland fans have come out in force at these Euros.

There were more than 34,000 for their opening group game against Norway in Basel, while 29,658 witnessed the win over Iceland in Bern.

Another full house is expected at the 30,000-capacity Stade de Geneve tonight.

Will they be roaring the Swiss into the quarter-finals?

Iceland have nothing but pride to play for tonight, but their fans have still turned out in huge numbers.

Thousands of them walked to Stockhorn Arena from the centre of Thun.

They were led by ‘Big Glacier’ - chairman of Iceland’s official supporters club for both the men and women’s teams - as they strolled towards the stadium.

Once they arrived he stood above the rest of them to start the infamous Icelandic Viking clap.

So good.

Another day, another selfie for Switzerland's Alisha Lehmann, who has 16.7 million followers on Instagram.

Lehmann has yet to play a single minute at Euro 2025. Will that change for the former Aston Villa forward, who once again starts on the bench tonight?

When Ada Hegerberg arrived at Arena Thun she certainly had the smile of someone who's been told they've got their birthday off work!

The Norway captain turns 30 today and she's been given the gift of a rest by boss Gemma Grainger.

She's one of many regular starters to have been named on the bench for the Group A winners.

Norway boss Gemma Grainger hinted at squad rotation for her already-qualified side and she has made six changes, switching from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3.

Manchester United trio Celin Bizet, Lisa Naalsund and Elisabeth Terland all come into the starting XI, with Caroline Graham Hansen, Guro Reiten, Frida Maanum, Ingrid Engen and captain Ada Hegerberg among those to be rested on the bench.

Thorsteinn Halldorsson has made three changes to his Iceland line-up that started the 2-0 loss to Switzerland last time out.

He's switched from a 4-2-3-1 formation to match Norway's 4-3-3.
