Jamie Gittens scored twice for Borussia Dortmund to ensure boss Nuri Sahin got off to a winning start in the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt.
English forward Gittens dribbled into the box and fired a sublime strike into the top corner past Kevin Trapp's despairing dive in the 72nd minute.
His second came just before the final whistle when he ran through the Frankfurt defence and finished low into the bottom corner.
Gittens has chosen to drop Bynoe from his previously double-barreled surname for this season, saying his father "thinks it's better if I'm only called Gittens because it's shorter".
Dortmund had struggled to create any chances of note in the first half with Marcel Sabitzer's tame shot easily saved by Trapp.
Shortly after the break, Julian Brandt's effort flew narrowly wide of the target as Dortmund hunted the breakthrough.
But the hosts took control after Gittens opened the scoring and Sahin's reign begins with three points.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig won 1-0 against Bochum earlier in the day with Antonio Nusa the match-winner.
Willi Orban was sent off for Leipzig in the 85th minute after bringing down Myrn Boadu to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity.
