Tyreece Campbell has now scored seven goals for Charlton this season
Charlton extended their winning run at the Valley to eight games as they swept aside Huddersfield 4-0.
An effort from Matty Godden, two by Tyreece Campbell and an own goal from goalkeeper Lee Nicholls strengthened Charlton's play-off credentials.
The hosts got off to an ideal start with the opening goal after less than 30 seconds.
Thierry Small pounced on a loose ball from Huddersfield defender Radinio Balker and crossed into the box for Godden to head home.
Charlton doubled their advantage after 17 minutes, Luke Berry finding Campbell, who fired in low from just inside the area.
Huddersfield keeper Nicholls was called into action twice early in the second half, turning away efforts from Campbell and Berry.
But a low 53rd-minute drive from the lively Campbell was too much for him.
And the fourth goal arrived in the 60th minute when Greg Docherty's shot came back off the bar and then hit the unfortunate Nicholls and went in.
