Thomas Frank clearly has the ability to build a club, and should be a great signing, but will Daniel Levy give him enough freedom to achieve it, or will he strangle him?
Neil, Birmingham
Frank will almost certainly regret going to Spurs once Levy reveals his true colours yet again. Going to the worst team in London in 24/25 is hardly a bright move.
Chris, Kettering
I just do not get it. You have a manager that is a proven winner including European glory and you replace him with a mid-table manager who has won what? If this fails for Levy he has to go.

Thomas Frank is an excellent manager and a superb appointment for any Premier club, but, the problem at Spurs, as I’m sure most Spurs fans will agree, isn’t necessarily managers. Pochettino warned years ago that money was needed for a significant rebuild and what happened to him? Frank will end up as frustrated as Conte, Mourinho, Pochettino et all because the problem there can be summed up in two words. Daniel Levy.
Chris, Manchester
Now the dust has settled, I think sacking Ange was the right choice and Frank is a sensible appointment. The issue he’ll have though is actually getting the playing staff he wants and needs and getting them before the last day of the window. We’ve been linked with Eze, Mbeuno, Semenyo and Gibbs-White, but I guarantee we won’t get any of them. Levy isn’t looking for the here and now and that will always be our problem.
