Uefa Under-19 Championship highlights: England 2-2 Norway

Tottenham forward Mikey Moore converted a late penalty as England drew against Norway in their opening match at the European Under-19 Championship in Romania.

The 17-year-old equalised in the 80th minute after team-mate Shumaira Mheuka had been pushed to the ground by defender Jonathan Norbye.

In an entertaining match, Will Antwi's Young Lions took an 11th-minute lead.

Tom Watson, who scored an injury-time winner for Sunderland in the Championship play-off final against Sheffield United before joining Brighton in a £10m deal, saw his deflected strike go in after Kadan Young's bright run created the opportunity.

Alexander Rossing-Lelesiit made it 1-1 with an excellent individual goal and both sides hit the woodwork before Sondre Granaas put Norway ahead just before half-time with a well-taken cushioned volley.

But England were the better side in the second half and got a deserved equaliser with 10 minutes remaining.

A late ankle injury to Moore was the only negative and, with Antwi's side having used all their substitutes, they had to see out the match with only 10 men.

England play Germany on Tuesday and the Netherlands on Friday, with the top two in each group progressing to the semi-finals.
