Danny Rohl introduced to media as Rangers head coach
Former Sheffield Wednesday boss will take charge for first time against Brann on Thursday
Rangers head coach Danny Rohl: "We need wins in a row. I see so much potential.
"If you can bring the squad together with your style of football... then you will go in a fantastic direction.
"You can be the first, the second or the third choice. The important thing is to win games. I cannot tell you which choice I am. I am here."

Another little nugget of info from the new head coach. Rohl took training this morning and says he saw great "intensity" from the players which pleased him greatly
Rangers sporting director Kevin Thelwell: "The process that we've got is not a process that's new.
"I've never signed a player that the head coach doesn't want.
"I'm very much looking forward to working with [Danny Rohl]."
Rangers chief executive Patrick Stewart: "The proof of the process is in terms of the outcome. We spoke to a number of different people. Some names ended in the media, some didn't.
"I can understand that on the outside it looks like the process has gone awry.
"Definitely need to take accountability. Completely understand the hurt that the fans feel. We do take our responsibility from mistakes made.
"The results this season haven't been good enough. Nobody's been happy with those."

Chief executive Patrick Stewart says they got the man they wanted.

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl: "I'm really looking forward to being part of this amazing football club. We want to win, we need wins because we want to turn around the position at the moment.
"I am looking for an ambitious club, a club that is wanting more. This club has everything for all these goals.
"My job is clear. My focus is on my person, what I can bring to this football club. We want to create chances, we want to create goals. We want to defence as a team.
"We have to win games then we can speak about playing attractive football."

Communication will be key for Danny Rohl.
The first thing I notice is that his English is excellent. He's holding court absolutely no problem in what is not his native language.
Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh: "We were incredibly impressed by his ability to take tactics and make them work on the pitch.
"Danny will bring out the best in every one of our players. We are yet to see the best of our squad.
"He gets it and has the ability to create a bond with our supporters. He knows that winning is the only option."

As an Owls fans living in Scotland, I think this a great appointment for Rangers. He works hard and got the absolute maximum out of a quite average squad with no resources. Exactly what Rangers need!

Got to give the guy a fair chance. He’s chosen to come into a club during a difficult time following a particularly unpleasant atmosphere in his previous role. It shows a commitment to his work, he’s not hiding. I think we need to get behind him and hope that he can turn things around
