Lauren Smith's side needed a win today to go through to the semi-finals but their performance just wasn't enough, instead Spain manage to make their way through down to a 95th minute goal from captain Cristina Librán.
After today's games both Portugal and Spain progress to the semi-finals from Group B, meeting France and Italy there.

The first half ends after 2 minutes of added time and tops off a fairly even display from both teams.
Spain started the game in control of possession and managed to get some good shots off but nothing to trouble Cox, however England showed glimpses of hope as they started to grow into the game in the last part of the half.
All is to play for in the last 45 minutes.
