Raków Czestochowa have only faced an Italian side once before in Europe, in their 2-0 defeat to Atalanta on MD1 of this season’s UEFA Europa League.
Italian teams have won their last five away major European matches against Polish teams – the last Polish team to win on home soil was Wisla Krakow against Parma in a 2002-03 UEFA Cup match, winning 4-1.
Raków Czestochowa ended a run of six European games without a win (D2 L4) with their 1-0 away with at Sturm Graz on MD5. They are looking to win consecutive major European matches for the first time.
