I was disappointed that Offord didn't bury that but you will take that anyway you can.

    Ari Olsen o.g. - 38mins

Linfield double their advantage in slightly fortuitous circumstances.

Kieran Offord is played through on goal but his attempted dinked finish is saved by the goalkeeper.

However, back-tracking defender Ari Olsen, facing his own net, can only deflect the loose ball into his own goal.

Linfield are ahead in the tie for the first time.

Linfield strike the woodwork twice in the space of a minute as Offord unleashes another piledriver - this time with his left foot - which strikes the underside of the bar before bouncing out.

The VAR official is content that the ball didn't bounce over the goal-line and the game continues.

Almost a second for Linfield as Charlie Allen works half a yard of space but his strike deflects off the base of the post before being cleared.

It really did take something special for Linfield to go in front as Vikingur were really disciplined. There was only one thing on Offord's mind when he got the ball, what a screamer. Vikingur will be disappointed by the defending but what a strike.

  11. goal

GOAL - Linfield 1-0 Vikingurpublished at 20:07 British Summer Time 14 August

    Kieran Offord - 22mins

The Blues are ahead on the night style as Kieran Offord breaks the deadlock in style!

The Scottish striker steps cleverly away from Solvi Vatnhamar and then goes past Arnbjarn Svensson before unleashing a piledriver past the keeper from just outside the penalty area.

After his hat-trick against Dungannon at the weekend, it's the strike of a man high on confidence.

The tie is all square at 2-2.

Close for the visitors who work an opening on the edge of the penalty area before laying the ball off to right-back Ario Olsen.

Jakup Johansen chases a seemigly lost cause as Vikingur pump a high ball forward but the striker holds off Ben Hall and forces his way into the penalty area where his shot is comfortably saved by Chris Johns.

Nevertheless, it's a warning for the Blues that the visitors possess a threat on the counter-attack.
