There's still two more WSL games to bring you this afternoon.

Game five of six between Brighton and Chelsea is due to get started in Crawley any minute now.

And then there is Arsenal against West Ham to finish proceedings - that kicks off at 17:30 GMT.

Leicester City

Leicester boss Amandine Miquel speaking to BBC Sport: "We didn't do enough in the first half clearly. We were better in the second half but it wasn't enough. We gave ourselves troubles alone. We were late, we didn't move as a block and we opened up options for them which made it easier for them to score."

On what was said at half-time: "We told the players that if we were going to lose, we weren't going to lose playing the way we did in the first half. We needed to be much more aggressive and that's what we did."

On the changes made at half-time: "The players that came on did well. Before the changes it was better, but the fresh players helped us to create occasions."

On looking forward to their next game: "In this league, there are no easy games. We have to give everything to every game. We will focus on the second half and make sure we have that in our next game. "

Manchester United started the game well. At home they are difficult to beat, they don't concede many goals and Leicester don't score many.

There wasn't as much in the second half and Leicester created some chances but Manchester United know how to see games out and that's what they did today.

Manchester United

Manchester United boss Marc Skinner speaking to BBC Sport: "I was [pleased with the performance], first half especially. I felt we might fall off a little bit second half because we have only had two days from international duty. Winners find a way to win and we have done that. We have alreadya accrued more points now with seven games to go than we did last season."

On Melvine Malard's goal and his selection headache: "A great headache. I am so pleased for Mel today, she deserved that. She worked tirelessly."

On closing the gap to WSL leaders Chelsea before they play at 15:00 GMT: "I won't be watching. Chelsea will look after Chelsea, we will look after Manchester United. I will go and spend time with my family now."

On if she would rather play as the striker or alongside Elisabeth Terland: "Maybe both. Terland has very good energy and runs a lot also. We win all the games at the moment and that is very good."

On her goal: "I worked hard for that because before I was stressed in front of goal. I thought stay calm and I scored."

In the early kick off today Manchester United comfortably beat Leicester at Leigh Sports Village.

There's a real scramble in the six-yard box, but the ball falls to England who takes a swipe and watches her effort float over the crossbar.

Liverpool lead at the break thanks to Jaz Matthews' tenth minute tap in.

Aston Villa have dominated proceedings but Maren Mjelde's strike means Everton are the team in front at the break.

Abbie Larkin is slipped through on goal with a wonderful reverse pass but Rachael Laws does well to fly out of her net to smother the low shot.

That was the best chance of the game by far for Crystal Palace.

Olivia Smith tries to trick her way into the Palace box but her progress is halted by an excellent interception from Lexi Potter.

Jordan Nobbs delivers an early ball into the box but it is cut out before it reaches Rachel Daly.

That was Bethany England's eighth league goal of the season and that moves her to joint-second in the WSL scoring charts, alongside Alessia Russo.

A quick reminder, though, that England was not selected by Sarina Wiegman for the Lionesses' Nations League fixtures earlier this month.

The first shot on target of the afternoon for Crystal Palace comes courtesy of Ashleigh Weerden.

She jinks inside and out to get away from Grace Fisk but her near-post effort is simple enough for Rachael Laws to deal with.

Courtney Brosnan is back on her feet and seemingly fine to continue.

Everton will not want to lose their number one goalkeeper for any length of time.

The former Arsenal midfielder has now had the most shots in the WSL without scoring (21).

Ashleigh Weerden chases down Jasmine Matthews to win the ball in the final third but her pass fails to reach a red and blue shirt in the middle and the opportunity disappears.

Aston Villa charge towards goal but they can't carve out a clear cut opportunity.

Everton have been fairly comfortable since going in front, despite Villa having more of the ball.
