Robert Vilahamn has made six changes to his Spurs side as they look to bounce back from three straight defeats before the international break—including that heavy 5-0 loss in the North London Derby.

With Clare Hunt suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards, Luana Bühler gets a rare opportunity to impress after spending much of the season on the bench.

Martha Thomas and Beth England both start, with Thomas expected to lead the line as the target striker and England operating in a deeper No. 10 role. Hayley Raso is absent from the squad, while fellow Matilda Charlie Grant starts on the left wing.

Big names like Amanda Nilden and Jess Naz drop to the bench, reinforcing the sense that Vilahamn is making a statement—not just a tactical reset, but a clear message to his squad as they push to climb the table.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton are unbeaten in their last seven WSL home games (W4 D3) with only Chelsea (P10 W10) on a longer streak without defeat on home turf in the top-flight.

However the Seagulls winless in their last six WSL games, drawing their two home games in that run against Crystal Palace and Tottenham, and losing their four away trips.

Aston Villa have had a lacklustre season so far and sit just four points ahead of bottom-placed Crystal Palace.

Their last WSL match was a 3-0 defeat against Leicester as the Foxes moved two points above them.

Aston Villa pair Kirsty Hanson and Jordan Nobbs have had the most shots in the league without scoring than any other players this season (19 each).

Manager Natalia Arroyo said ahead of this encounter at Villa Park: "The game is in an amazing stadium so that’s great and you always want to play these kind of games.

"There’s no excuse of the pitch, no excuse of needing to travel anywhere as it’s home and it is close to us.

"We have a lot of things to learn from and hopefully we can show the version that we want to be and ‘what’s the team we want to be’ isn’t saying it’s doing.

"We need to set a right benchmark of what we want to be by showing our best."

It was a decent half for Manchester United. They controlled the game throughout. Leicester struggled with the United midfielders and they made it difficult .

Elle Toone had a big impact on both of those goals. She has been really involved and exciting to watch. The shape that she picks up makes it difficult for the opposition and the movement in the building phase is really good from United.

Two passes was all it took to split Leicester wide open as Melvine Malard opened the scoring at Leigh Sports Village.

And it was a similar story for United's second. Amandine Miquel won't be happy her side made it so easy for those two goals.

And that's the end of it as Phoebe Cross blows for half-time.

A perfect time to score, it was excellent combination play. It feels right for United to get that second goal. It was great instinctive play from Janssen and a lovely run from Leah Galton before Malard was able to finish it off.

Leicester don't seem to have any response.

It's not a dive from Julie Thibaud, but she hits the deck as soon as Celin Bizet makes the slightest of contact.

It's a smart move. Manchester United would have been through there.

It is difficult as a goalkeeper when you have both left and right footed players standing over the ball. Leitzig did well to organise her wall for that corner, despite Melvine Malard bouncing up and down in her face.

New Crystal Palace boss Leif Smerud makes three changes to the side that fell to a 3-1 defeat at Manchester United before the international break.

Shae Yanez starts in goal in place of Milla-Maj Majasaari, while Katrine Veje and Mille Gejl also drop out and are replaced by Annabel Blanchard and Abbie Larkin.

Gabby George and Ella Toone are the two players standing over the ball, but it's George who lifts the ball up and over the bar.

Now it's Grace Clinton's turn to hit the floor, clutching her leg - but she's only down for a few seconds.

We're getting to that point of the season where there's a real worry for international managers when players go down.

Sarina Wiegman will hope there's no lasting effects from that challenge on the England midfielder.

Marc Skinner will be frustrated that his team haven't capitalised on dominance. They need to sharpen up slightly.

Melvine Malard is finding space, there's just not always enough room in behind. Le Tissier is so good at getting that ball to her, she just looks up and knows how to directly drive it but United can't always finish.

It looks like Hlin Eiríksdottir is fit to continue for now and play gets back under way.
