I reported that the ball boys for this evening's game are the England U15 team.

This is done to keep them engaged with England while they don't have a game and also to keep the players having a good feeling about England in an age where more and more players are eligible for more than one nation.

Someone has just shown a couple of players near me to where they are sitting.

The players are in the position around the pitch where they play so they can watch the seniors to pick up tips.

Thomas Tuchel may have only had four games, but much of this was his own doing as he delayed taking over until 1 January, missing the chance to take charge of Nations League games away to Greece and at home to Republic of Ireland.

In the same period of time, his predecessors had more matches to make their plans.

Roy Hodgson had 14 games, while Fabio Capello had nine and Gareth Southgate, Steve McClaren and Sven-Goran Eriksson all had eight.

With the clock ticking towards the World Cup, now is the time for the German to demonstrate the shape, strategy and identity he wants his England team to have.

Squad choices have varied between the safe selection of an old guard, such as the continued presence of 35-year-old Jordan Henderson, and the bizarre, as when Ivan Toney was summoned from the Saudi Pro League with Al-Ahli then only given two minutes as a substitute against Senegal before being dropped altogether.

In the other Group K match, Serbia have won 1-0 in Latvia thanks to a goal from Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

That win takes Serbia up to second in the table, two points behind England.

As expected when the draw was made, it is going to be between England and Serbia for top spot. Serbia entertain the Three Lions on Tuesday with the return match at Wembley on 13 November.

A total of 325 days have passed since Thomas Tuchel was named England's new manager.

And, yet, here we are still trying to work out exactly what to expect from his Three Lions team.

The German officially took over on 1 January - two and a half months after his unveiling - but England have only played four games since, with Wayne Rooney describing the fixtures as "nonsense" in any case.

Earlier this year, BBC Sport looked at the various formations, playing styles and tactics Tuchel might adopt, ranging from the fast and furious to the more cautious and pragmatic.

So have we actually learned anything yet? And what should we look out for during this international window - starting with today's game against Andorra at Villa Park?

One thing that has been unique to Tuchel is the relatively small number of games he's taken charge of in the opening months of his tenure compared to other recent England managers.

No other Three Lions boss since 2000 has overseen so few games in the 325 days following their appointment.

England are playing Andorra at Villa Park in Birmingham today because of Coldplay's concerts at Wembley.

The Three Lions traditionally play their home matches at the London ground, but Coldplay's run of concerts at the national stadium has given England an opportunity chance to take the fixture around the country.

Wembley hosted Coldplay on Thursday with another performance today.

In recent years, England's men's and women's sides have played select matches across the nation.

England's friendly against Senegal in June also clashed with concert season, so the match was hosted at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.

The fixture will be England's first at Aston Villa's home ground since February 2005, when the Three Lions drew 0-0 in a friendly with the Netherlands. England have previously played nine times at Villa Park - winning four, drawing four and losing once.

This was the Group K table at the start of the day with the match between Latvia and Serbia starting at 14:00 BST. Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic gave Serbia an early lead and they are currently 1-0 ahead with about 15 minutes to go.

Only the 12 group winners are guaranteed to qualify for next summer's World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The nations finishing second go into the play-offs, where each side would need to win two matches to qualify. Sixteen countries will be involved in the play-offs, with four teams advancing.

If England's campaign fell apart and they came outside the top two they would almost certainly still be playing in the play-offs because they topped their group in the Nations League last year.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson is expected to make his England debut against Andorra.

Anderson, given his first call-up by head coach Thomas Tuchel at the end of last month, is in line to get the nod in the 2026 World Cup qualifier at Villa Park later on Saturday (17:00 BST).

He is likely to partner Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze in midfield.

Dan Burn is set to play next to Marc Guehi at centre-back, with Reece James and Myles Lewis-Skelly at full-back.

Harry Kane will captain the side as central striker, with Marcus Rashford and Noni Madueke expected to play out wide.

Sources have told BBC Sport the expected line-up, which will be announced officially later.
