I think Ards will be quite happy at this point. Cliftonville have had more possession, but each side have had a chance. Ards are trying to frustrate them, so they need to be patient.

Jack Keaney's low drive is a comfortable save for Alex Moore, as the Ards fans breathe a sigh of relief.

That's the best chance Ards have had in the opening 20 minutes.

The Premiership side have upped the tempo and are asking more questions of the Ards defence.

This time the Ards stopper comes out to the edge of the box to deny Shea Gordon's effort.

Shea Kearney does get to the rebound, but he sends an effort over the empty net.

Alex Moore rushes off his line and makes himself big to divert Ryan Curran's strike after Rory Hale's pass had left him through on goal.

That was a big chance for Jim Magilton's side.

Cliftonville are awarded the first corner of the game, but it comes to nothing.

The offside flag halts a promising Cliftonville attack after Rory Hale and Ryan Curran had linked up just outside the box to find Joe Gormley.

However Gormley can't have many complaints about that one as he had strayed well offside.

Max Greer does well to keep possession on the right flank and plays the ball into the box for Lee Newell but, under pressure from Jack Keaney, he can't control the ball before it goes out of play.

Cliftonville have enjoyed more of the possession in the opening stages of the game. They been keeping possession in midfield though and haven't tried to test Alex Moore.

Connor Maxwell tries to find Lee Newell in the box, but Jonny Addis clears the ball before the striker can connect with it.

I think if Ards can withhold the first 15-20 minutes then they have a chance and this could be a real cracker. It is not a foregone conclusion that if Cliftonville show up they will win, Ards deserve to be here.
