Matty Jones' Wales U21s now sit bottom of Euro qualifying Group I
Wales' hopes of qualifying for a first European Under-21 Championship finals suffered another blow in a 3-0 defeat away by Belarus in Georgia on Friday.
Belarus took the lead inside the quarter-hour mark when Ruslan Myalkovski slotted the ball past advancing Wales goalkeeper Lewys Benjamin from close range.
The hosts extended their lead soon after the half-time break when Hleb Kuchko broke before finding Kirill Tsepenkov, who finished to double the lead.
On 73 minutes Belarus put the result out of Wales' reach as substitute Radzivon Pyachura curled a fine shot from the edge of the area into the far corner.
Wales head coach Matty Jones had made three changes from the side that defeated Austria last month as Luey Giles, Thierry Katsukuyna and Cian Ashford were handed places in the starting line-up.
At half-time, Chris Popov - who scored the second goal in the 2-0 win over Austria - and Joel Cotterill were brought on as Jones looked for a response from his side, only to get stung by Tsepenkov's goal.
Wales now sit bottom of Group I with three points from their four games at the halfway stage and looking increasingly unlikely to qualify.
The game at Georgia's Tengiz Burjanadze Stadium in Gori took place behind closed doors as Belarus are banned from hosting games due to the country's support for Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
