Sonia Bompastor looks a concerned figure on the sidelines.

This is her 27th WSL match in charge of Chelsea, and they have rarely been tested like this.

Exceptional move and Jess Park is involved, once again.

You can see the players coming in and Ella Toone just can't keep her balance. It was a lovely little triangle move there.

    Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea

Ella Toone ends a Man Utd move with a shot from the edge of the box, over the top.

She, Jess Park and Anna Sandberg were all involved in that move. They have been the three outstanding players on the pitch tonight.

Assuming that Bompastor had a reasonable idea how Utd would approach this game, how Walsh is playing ahead of Hamano, when legs would be needed in midfield to prevent counterattacks, is unfathomable

  8. 'Chelsea have winning mentality'published at 20:06 BST

    Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Three

What Chelsea have is a winning mentality. Winning every game is up to scratch with what they want. They find a way and they've done that so far this season.

  9. Do Man Utd have the energy to keep this up?published at 20:06 BST

    Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport Chief Football News Reporter at Leigh Sports Village

Manchester United have been outstanding so far.

They started well and refused to let their heads drop when they went behind.

Now they have the equaliser, they are the ones making taking the game to the champions.

The question is, can they keep it up.

  10. 'Wonderful save'published at 20:05 BST

What about this for a point-blank save. This is what you train for every day in training.

It's a reaction save. Wieke Kaptein will be disappointed because she should score but I prefer to look at it as a wonderful save from Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

This was a much better strike by Wieke Kaptein...

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:05 BST

    Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea

Aggie Beever-Jones gets in behind Jayde Riviere down the left, she fires in a low cross which Wieke Kaptein meets first time around the penalty spot.

She tries to put it back across the keeper, but Phallon Tullis-Joyce sticks out a strong hand and beats the shot away.

Kaptein should have scored, but take nothing away from Tullis-Joyce.

  13. 'We're giving United too much time to play'published at 20:03 BST

    Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea

Chelsea assistant coach Camille Abily, speaking to BBC Three: "We started well because we scored the first goal but Manchester United are a really good team and they were able to score too. We need to be a bit higher to put them under pressure.

"Defensively, we can go higher to be closer to the opponent because sometimes we leave them too much time to play."

  14. 'Park has added spark to Utd'published at 20:02 BST

Jess Park on a number of occasions has run at the Chelsea defence and they've backed off. What a spark she's brought to this team.

I think we see the best of her in that central role.

Certainly in the central midfield battle, Ella Toone and Julia Zigiotti have had full control over Walsh and co.

Something for Sonia Bompastor to ponder.

I might be alone in this but Walsh to Chelsea hasn't been the move I think she thought it would be. She seems sluggish.

    Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea

Man Utd are pressing Chelsea very high - whenever they go on the attack they send eight or nine players into the opposition half.

High risk, for what they hope will be high reward.

You'd have more luck trying to get a ball through a concrete wall.

Erin Cuthbert nearly finds Aggie Beever-Jones with a lovely through ball, cut out at the last second.

Great finish but utterly awful defending from Chelsea. Free cross in, weak header away, no closing down.
