Although there is nothing really to play for at Lakeview Park this afternoon, both sides will want to end the season on a high. Particularly the visitors, who will want to take some momentum into their relegation play-off in a few weeks' time.

The past two meetings have ended goalless, with the Villagers winning the only other meeting this season 3-0 back in August in what is one of their five Irish Premiership victories.

Looking at both stating XIs, there are plenty of changes from both managers.

Darren Murphy makes five changes to his Loughgall side that lost at Portadown last week. In come Berraat Turker, Ben Murdock, Lee McMenemy, Matthew O'Brien and Fra McCaffrey for Nathan Gartside, Robbie Norton, Lewis Francis, Robert Mahon and Conor McCloskey.

Stephen Baxter meanwhile makes two alterations as Seanan Clucas and Daniel Gibson return with Kyle Cherry and Cian O'Malley missing out.

Loughgall: Turker, Murdock (capt), T.Kelly, Andrade, McMenemy, O'Brien, Magee, Towe, McCaffrey, McLaughlin.

Subs: Gartside, Brogan, Gibson, Mahon, D.Kelly, Da Silva, Woolsey.

Carrick Rangers: Ross Glendinning, Watson, Maciulaitis, McCullough (capt), Clucas, Crowe, Heatley, Reece Glendinning, Gibson, O'Brien, O'Reilly.

Subs: McIntyre, Cushley., Allen, Buchanan-Rolleston, Webb, Forbes, Hastings.

  2. Over to you Glens...published at 14:00 British Summer Time 19 April

    Five-match Premiership programme

The battle for the runner-up place which would guarantee European football continues to be the primary focus as we complete the penultimate round of regular fixtures in the Irish Premiership today.

Larne threw down the gauntlet to Glentoran by moving second with a 2-1 comeback win over Linfield on Friday night but a victory for Declan Devine's side on the road at Dungannon Swifts this afternoon would see the Glens leapfrog Gary Haveron's charges into that automatic European spot again.

To add to the intrigue, Larne host Glentoran on the final day of top flight action in seven days' time.

Elsewhere in the top division, Crusaders are at home to Coleraine with both sides still chasing the opportunity to secure home advantage in the end-of-season European play-offs.

In the bottom half, Cliftonville would confirm a seventh-place finish with a draw away to Portadown while Glenavon entertain Ballymena United and already relegated Loughgall play Carrick Rangers, who are gearing up for a relegation/promotion play-off.

As always, we will have our usual menu of live audio coverage from Radio Ulster's Sportsound, live text updates, in-play clips, report and highlights, so be sure to stay with us throughout the afternoon and you won't miss a thing.
