GOAL- Dungannon Swifts 1-0 Loughgallpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 26 October 2024

    Andrew Mitchell (29 mins)

A clever ball by Andrew Mitchell leaves Thomas Maguire through on goal, but the winger hesitates which gives Loughgall time to get players back.

However Maguire does well to spot Mitchell in space in the box and plays the ball across to Mitchell making no mistake from close range.

That was lovely link-up play in the Dungannon midfield before the goal.

We're back underway after a stoppage in play due to Mark Surgenor getting a blow to the head.

He is back on sporting a head bandage but you can still see a bit of claret coming from above his left eye.

    Coleraine 0-1 Glentoran

Glentoran have giant goalkeeper Daniel Gyollai to thank for preserving their 1-0 lead.

A Jamie Glackin corner finds its way to Matthew Shevlin at the back post, six yards from goal.

The striker catches his volley perfectly, the ball looking for all the world as if it's heading towards the back of the net.

Gyollai reacts superbly, diving to his right, to turn Shevlin's shot round the post for a corner.

    Linfield 1-0 Cliftonville

Charlie Allen shows some quite exquisite footwork, dancing past four or five Cliftonville players before floating a cross to the back post.

Matthew Fitzpatrick tries to get his head on the cross, but neither he nor Jonny Addis can as the ball evades them both.

    Linfield certainly on top now.

Enterprising work from David McDaid sees him get past Mark Surgenor and away down the left. His cutback to Matthew Snoddy is blocked behind by a combination of Kyle Cherry and Joe Crowe, who both threw themselves at him.

From the corner, Barney McKeown heads wide before Carrick go on the break but Seanan Clucas can't pick out Danny Gibson after a lung-busting run.

A flurry of action after 20 minutes.

Again it's another great delivery from Kirk Millar - there's a bit of pinball in the box and Fitzpatrick buries it.

I'd glad to see him score as his work ethic is superb.

No clear cut chances for either team but lots of enterprise from both sets of players.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 26 October 2024

    Crusaders 0-0 Ballymena United

Ben Kennedy clearly handles the ball inside the Ballymena penalty area but referee Ross Dunlop adjudges the reason for that is because he has been pushed by an opponent and it's a free kick to the visitors and a chance to clear the danger.

Not a decision which has gone down terribly well with the home support.
