Plzen are beginning to grow into the game and are very pacey on the counter attack as Steven Naismith has alluded to over the past few days.

The Hearts defence are so far standing firm and are ably supported by the midfield trio of Jorge Grant, Cammy Devlin and Malachi Boateng.

It's alarming for me that there are men free on the penalty spot for a cut back.

At least Jorge Grant gets back in.

This time Jorge Grant is the man to prevent Hearts from going behind.

Plzen work things down the right and it's cut back to Pavel Sulc, who is in so much space to sweep an effort towards the bottom corner.

Grant is on the line to clear, though. Hearts are living dangerously.

Kyle Vassell is one-on-on with Denis Vavro, and the Slovakian defender brings him down.

Was that a last man challenge? The referee doesn't think so. It's just yellow. Perhaps Kevin Diks was getting back just in time.

Craig Gordon to the rescue for Hearts.

It's a delightful ball to the back post for Milan Havel, who is completely unmarked and stoops to guide a header on target.

Gordon spreads himself and uses his left arm to make the block.

Kenneth Vargas has been a complete pest up top for Hearts, good on him.

He's darting about closing down, alongside Cammy Devlin, the Plzen defence as they attempt to play out.

He got close to getting a toe on the ball in the box there.

Ooft, that was careless from Lawrence Shankland.

He flings a throw-in back the way for Stephen Kingsley, who perhaps unwisely lets it bounce.

Plzen pile forward and manage to stab a shot on goal, before Kye Rowles sends the ball over his own bar to clear.

Lukas Cerv is caught by Cammy Devlin about 25 yards out from goal.

Plzen's captain Lukas Kalvach has a strike from the free kick, but it curls harmlessly over the bar.

First sight of danger for Hearts. Jan Kopic does really well to control a switch of play and keep it in on the right wing.

He gets a high cross to the back post, but it's over his team-mates and Hearts deal with it.

After a bright start from Kilmarnock, they are firmly pinned in their own box by Copenhagen.

So far, they've restricted the Danes to potshots from the edge of the area, which they've managed to block by one way or another.

A wee reminder that this man has just become Hearts' record European appearance holder.

Plzen are keen to play out from the back and Hearts hound them to force a sclaff into touch.

Hearts have made a bright start. Kenneth Vargas wins a free-kick, which is taken quickly and aimed towards the Costa Rican forward, but Plzen flick the ball clear.

However, Hearts come forward again and get a corner out of it. That's headed over.
