Bolton Wanderers and Wrexham remain unbeaten in the new League One season after playing out a goalless draw at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Arthur Okonkwo produced a fine save to deny Aaron Collins early on before the Wrexham goalkeeper kept out Dion Charles' deflected effort in the second half.
Steven Fletcher drilled straight at Nathan Baxter from distance in the final stages, as both clubs kept a first clean sheet of the 2024-25 campaign.
The stalemate leaves the pair with four points from their opening two league games after Bolton beat Leyton Orient 2-1 on the opening day - with Phil Parkinson's men winning 3-2 against Wycombe Wanderers.
Wrexham return to action against Reading at the Racecourse on Saturday, 24 August (15:00 BST), with Bolton travelling to Charlton Athletic on the same day.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson told BBC Radio Wales: "They're a good side, it was a good test for us today.
"They started so quickly and we didn't quite react to that start but I thought we grew into the game.
"It was a hard-fought point for us but it was very important for us to show that we can compete at this level at the top end of the division, and I felt we did that."
