Agyemang and Kelly are injections of energy rather than lasting all game and Michelle is still only a teenager. I think they will be more hyped in the second half to be subbed on maybe a bit earlier than last game! Greenwood, Mead, Toone, Hemp and Alessia would be options.

Kelly should 100% start. She has the technical ability, and she puts in good crosses. I would still have Agyemang on the bench as an impact sub, but Beever-Jones should start up top with Russo. Well done girls, your mentality won the game!

Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang should start on the bench in the Final... the first 60 minutes are not as important as the last 60 minutes when they will probably be needed the most.

I think you have to start Kelly in front of Hemp and keep Morgan in place of Carter. Le Tissier for Stanway? I'd keep Agyemang on the bench, but bring her on after 60 mins if things aren't working.

This morning's focus is purely on England's 2-1 semi-final win over Italy. At 10:00 BST we'll have a separate live text on football transfer rumours.

England will play either world champions Spain or record winners Germany in Sunday's (17:00 BST) final with those two playing their semi-final tonight (20:00 BST).

Super subs Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang were the heroes for England, scoring the winner and a 96th-minute equaliser respectively.

England manager Sarina Wiegman was asked whether Michelle Agyemang was forcing herself into the starting line-up for the final: "She is not forcing me.

"She is very grateful to get minutes and she is very ready for it. Her growth and development went so quickly. From not starting at Brighton to getting lots more minutes and showing how good she is, to coming into our team.

"It went smooth for her and she feels very good about that."

Thanks Abi. I too may have screamed a little bit too loudly when Agyemang equalised.

Got told off by my partner who was worrying I'd woken up the neighbours...

Anyway, one thing I do want your opinions on is England's starting XI for the final.

Watched the match with our over 30s team outside at the pub. We ended up with a sleeping bag, a blanket from someone's car and a hot water bottle by the end of it but we jumped around a lot at the end. We had been continually yelling, "Get Michelle and Chloe on!" throughout.

  9. Agyemang has 'belief' despite 'weird' spotlightpublished at 08:49 British Summer Time 23 July

As the youngest member of England's squad and competing at her first major tournament, Agyemang is still getting used to the spotlight that comes with being a Lioness.

She was speaking to BBC Sport before it became public knowledge that England were working with police after defender Jess Carter revealed she had been the target of racist abuse while in Switzerland.

Agyemang said being the focus of attention was "weird".

"When I was younger I wasn't really the biggest fan of cameras and stuff around me," she said.

"It's nice to know that people are interested in the women's game, and in me."

Had someone told young Agyemang she would be playing for England at Euro 2025, she says she would have backed herself to perform.

"I would have had full belief and confidence that I could go and make an impact," she said.

"From a young age I have always had that confidence in myself and that belief. I definitely would have said, 'go and do what you know you can do'.

"Hopefully we go all the way and I can show more of myself to the rest of the world."

Flog It! and Countryfile are on BBC Two at the same time if he's interested.

England are into the Euro 2025 final on Sunday 27 July (17:00 BST kick-off) where they will face either record-winner Germany or world champions Spain.

  13. The importance of faith and playing the pianopublished at 08:30 British Summer Time 23 July

Faith is also important to Agyemang, and she listens to gospel music before matches to help get herself in the zone. The church has also influenced her to play instruments - a hobby she has been able to keep up while in Switzerland thanks to the kit man bringing her piano over in a van.

"I play the piano, the bass guitar and the drums. I have my piano in my room so I'm spending a lot of time in there just playing and chilling," she said.

"I don't think that there's a day that I go without playing it because it's right in front of me. Especially on game days I probably spend about two hours just playing and enjoying myself."

Agyemang, who is also studying Business Management at King's College London, is yet to play piano for the whole squad but said Lotte Wubben-Moy has been to hear her.

"Lotte asked me, 'hey can I come over?' And I said, 'yeah, why not?' She came and sat down for about 30 minutes and we had a good time," she recalled.

Thanks, Martin (and Pip earlier). I also assume Sarina Wiegman follows this live feed. In fact, I like to imagine she's the first thumbs up on every post.

If you've got any tactical tweaks and suggestions, do message them in. I'm sure they'll filter through to the coaching team.

We all know the first thing Sarina will be doing this morning is looking at the comments on the BBC live feed. With that in mind Sarina there is not a chance that the Spanish (or Germans if they cause an upset) will let you back into the game after another slow start. Please don't hold Chloe Kelly and Michelle Aygemang back with some kind of idea they'll win it for us in the last 10 minutes. Please play them from the start Throw everything at this and we'll either win or go down at least playing our best team.

  16. Agyemang 'creating havoc' on the big stagepublished at 08:19 British Summer Time 23 July

England forward Michelle AgyemangImage source, Getty Images

Michelle Agyemang's arrival on to the global stage has been anything but low-key.

Her England debut came against Belgium in the Nations League in April, when she scored a stunning volley just 41 seconds after coming on as a substitute.

That put Agyemang firmly on Sarina Wiegman's radar and, after selecting her to be part of the Euros squad, the England boss said the youngster would "bring something different" to her side.

Against Sweden, within 11 minutes of coming on to the pitch as a substitute, she delivered on that prediction.

"As soon as I got on the pitch Chloe [Kelly] said to me: 'Go and be yourself, go and create havoc, go and change the game,'" Agyemang said.

"To have someone give you that sort of confidence shows that they have trust in me and instils that confidence in myself as well to go and get the job done."

Havoc is not a word usually associated with Agyemang, whose immediate response to victory over Sweden was to console her opponents and who team-mate Lucy Bronze describes as "sweet and unassuming".

The demonstration of character in these last two games has been amazing. Not only to get back into it...but then to hold their nerve to win. Feels like it could become a hallmark of the Lionesses, almost like it is with Real Madrid

Agyemang scores equaliser in final minutes to send England to extra-time

Michelle Agyemang was a headline inclusion in Wiegman's Euro 2025 squad, having made only one senior appearance before the tournament.

She made headlines on her debut in April, scoring just 41 seconds after being introduced against Belgium.

Asked if Agyemang could be a "wildcard" off the bench after naming her in the 23-player squad, Wiegman said: "Yeah I think so, I think so. We will see what she can bring.

"I have seen her in training sessions and what she did in Belgium - she can bring something different. I hope she can show that."

It's safe to say Agyemang showed Wiegman what she can do.

Her goal against Italy was her second in Switzerland, making her the first teenager to net twice at a Women's Euros since Cecilie Pedersen for Norway in 2009.
