Mo Faal scored Wrexham's fourth and final goal at Port Vale

Wrexham will host Bolton Wanderers in the EFL Trophy quarter-finals after recovering from a first-minute shock to progress past Port Vale.

Ronan Curtis stunned the League One side from an acute angle to put the hosts ahead after just 20 seconds at Vale Park.

But Phil Parkinson's side proved too much for the League Two promotion hopefuls.

Andy Cannon levelled soon after half-hour and academy product Harry Ashfield put Wrexham in front after the break with his first senior goal for the club.

Elliot Lee added the third after scoring Wrexham's late League One winner at Crawley Town last weekend, before striker Mo Faal completed their night's work.
