I am a bit stressed to be fair. I would rather PSG played Barcelona in the final simply because it would have been a very open game, two teams that play similar football.

With Inter Milan, they have experience, they're very good tactically and they have a great manager. Inzaghi is so underrated, which is hard to understand.

Inter are so good at set pieces which is PSG's biggest weakness.

I always like to see a new name on a trophy so I'm hoping for a PSG win. Completely different team from the start of the season, but still I think it will be a tight match, not much of a goal fest. Nervy 1-0 to PSG.

Managers normally say they take things a game at a time. But last week, Luis Enrique told me there was still one league game to play and the French Cup final, but he was already watching Inter Milan.

He was not taking for granted the other two games, but he knows this is the big one. They could have lost the French Cup and the title, the Champions League beats everything.

    They have been waiting forever.

The Champions League is the holy grail.

The names don’t make a team. This PSG team is more likeable and better on the pitch because it’s a proper team, everybody defends and attacks together

As somebody of an advanced age, I remember when Enrique and Inzaghi were players, and Marcus Thuram's father Lillian was playing. What a player he was! Nice to see those names again for a bit of nostalgia. More importantly, Luis Enrique was probably one of the most versatile and intelligent players of all time, with CB and GK the only areas of the pitch he didn't play. We can see his knowledge of the game has shone through in his coaching ability. For this reason, I'm backing PSG today for a narrow win.

I think PSG are the better side, but then I thought Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Barcelona were the better sides and Inter beat them all. I couldn't call it just hope for an exciting game.

  9. What would a win do in Inter's place in European hierarchypublished at 09:23 British Summer Time 30 May

PSG v Inter Milan (Sat, 20:00 BST)

Victory on Saturday would be Inter Milan's fourth European Cup, drawing them level with Ajax.

That would mean only Real Madrid (15) AC Milan (seven), Bayern Munich (six), Liverpool (six) and Barcelona (five) have won more.

This is it for PSG. They will know that. No better chance, and they made it to the final after the superstars have gone. Now they play as a team. Footballing wise, it’s the right time and the right way to win it. As a neutral they have my vote and surely many more. I think it’ll be a corker. 3-2 PSG!

  11. Mourinho makes historypublished at 09:14 British Summer Time 30 May

PSG v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)

Inter Milan's Champions League win in 2010 meant Jose Mourinho, who won the competition with Porto in 2004, became the third man in history to win it with two clubs.

He joined Ernst Happel and Ottmar Hitzfeld in earning that remarkable accolade - at the age of only 47 - and, in doing so, ended a wait of more than 45 years for the Nerazzurri to regain Europe's top prize.

I'm an English Inter fan, I was out in Prague for the group stage match and was lucky enough to be in the San Siro for the Barcelona game. Moments like that make you think the name is on the trophy, but it doesn't stop me being nervous for tomorrow night!

Manchester City 1-0 Inter Milan: City fans react to Rodri's goal

Inter Milan last reached the Champions League final against Manchester City in 2023.

A 68th-minute strike from Rodri sealed the Treble for Pep Guardiola's side in Istanbul.

It was a memorable run to the final for Simone Inzaghi's side, who defeated rivals AC Milan 3-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

City had to survive a few scares when Federico Dimarco's header bounced off the bar and Ederson made a stunning late save to deny Romelu Lukaku.

That 1-0 win secured Guardiola his third Champions League.

  14. Milito show in 2010published at 08:58 British Summer Time 30 May

PSG v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)

Inter Milan are looking to win a fourth European crown.

Diego Milito produced one of the best individual Champions League final performances to score twice and defeat Bayern Munich in the 2010 Champions League final, the last time they won the competition.

Milito set Inter on their way at the Bernabeu against the run of play with a clipped finish.

And he wrapped up a win built on the foundations of a solid defence with a solo effort that saw Inter become the first Italian side to win the Treble.

Inter's previous European Cup wins came in 1964 and 1965, with 2010 their only Champions League triumph.

Paris Saint-Germain have never won the Uefa Champions League, but how many of their players have won major honours in Europe?

Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi was part of the Real Madrid squad that won the Champions League in 2017-18.

French left-back Lucas Hernandez won the Europa League with Atletico Madrid in 2017-18 before beating PSG with Bayern Munich in the 2019-20 Champions League final.

PSG v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)

As I mentioned, Paris Saint-Germain lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the 2019-20 Uefa Champions League final.

Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Angel Di Maria terrorised the Bayern back line in the first half but couldn't score, before former PSG winger Kingsley Coman scored the decisive goal just shy of the hour mark.

Covid-19 restrictions meant that the final was played in an empty Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.

Then-manager Thomas Tuchel was sacked on Christmas Eve later that year.

Well, this isn't going to be a long post.

Paris Saint-Germain have never won the Uefa Champions League - the closest they've come was losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the 2019-20 final.

Marseille remain the only French club to win the competition, thanks to their defeat of AC Milan in 1993, a final also played in Munich.

PSG haven't won the Europa League either, though they did win the Uefa Cup Winners' Cup in 1995-96, which at the time was essentially European football's secondary competition.
