For me that's a cop out from VAR. They had to give a decision and the referee should have stuck out with his original one because it was fair enough.

That's the best chance of the half and it's fallen to the player they want it to. He had more time than he thought. He snatched at the shot, shanked it really. There was real quality on the cross and it caused real uncertainty in the Botafogo defence.

Julian Alvarez is inches away from firing Atletico into the lead but he slams his shot into the ground from a tight angle and it spins wide of the far post.

Alex Telles gets down the left wing once again but his cross isn't the best and is easily headed clear by Robin Le Normand.

That goal means Atletico now need to win 3-0 to reach the last 16.

It's a huge blow for Seattle to concede after defending so well.

They came into this game knowing they had an outside chance of qualifying but they have it all to do now.
