A pretty evenly contest first half at Meadowbank with Lauren Davidson's header the only thing separating these two.

Jorian Baucom nearly fashions an impressive chance for Hibs, she chases down the loose ball and almost manages to nick it off Kenzie Weir but the City defender holds her off.

Another big save from Ava Easdon keeps the game goalless.

Rio Hardy enjoys a kind break of the ball and fires from a narrow angle, but Easdon is down well and uses her legs to block. It comes back to Hardy, who squares to Cornet, but she awkwardly volleys wide.

Naomia Powell steps up and the close range header is palmed away by Lee Gibson.

Hibs are pushing forward but haven't managed to test Lee Gibson yet, much more promising signs from the home side though.

Lauren Doran-Barr charges through the middle of the park and lays off to Tegan Bowie whose cross is deflected behind.

Naomi Powell sends one into the box and Ellis Notley gets a head to it but her effort is dealt with by Lee Gibson.

City have been pretty dominant since taking the lead and are making Hibs work hard defensively.

Shannon McGregor has a shot from the edge of the box but her effort is straight at Lee Gibson in the City goal and it's a comfortable catch.

There's a wee break in play while the midfielder gets some treatment but it looks like Grant Scott's readying a change.

Rangers have their first big chance.

Ava Easdon spilled a cross just over the bar, but made amends from the corner. The ball dropped to Tessel Middag six yards out, she curled for the corner, but Easdon stuck out a strong hand to deny her.

Another chance for Thistle.

Cara Henderson is played in on the right. She cuts back brilliantly, getting rid of the defender, and squares across goal - but Victoria Esson gathers again.

Still no real clear cut chances in Edinburgh, it's been a bitty start to the clash - lots of throw ins and free-kicks but no goalmouth action.
