Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez scored Inter's goals as they recorded a comfortable 2-0 win away at Feyenoord in the first leg.

Simone Inzaghi's side have kept a clean sheet in 88.9% of their Champions League matches this season (eight in nine), the highest percentage of clean sheets ever by a team in a single season of the European Cup/Champions League.

Bayer Leverkusen have it all to do after Bayern Munich strolled to a 3-0 victory in the first leg last week.

Harry Kane opened the scoring with a fine first-half header, before Leverkusen goalkeeper Matej Kovar spilled a cross right at the feet of Jamal Musiala who tapped in to the empty net.

Raphinha was once again Barcelona's hero as they claimed a narrow win over Benfica in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, despite going down to 10 men.

The Brazilian capitalised on a defensive error to drive forward and slot in the bottom corner in the 61st minute, notching his 25th goal of the season and ninth in the Champions League campaign.

Raphinha also came to the rescue for five-time winners Barca in January when the two sides met in the league group phase, scoring a 96th-minute winner in a nine-goal thriller.

Meeting again at this knockout stage of the competition, Barcelona had to play with 10 men from the 22nd minute after teenager Pau Cubarsi brought down Benfica striker Vangelis Pavlidis on the edge of the penalty box but, as the last man, received a straight red card.

The Portuguese hosts thought they had a penalty in the 82nd minute after the otherwise faultless Wojciech Szczesny brought down Andrea Belotti, but the spot-kick was overturned for offside in the build-up.

Barcelona held on to take a narrow lead to the Camp Nou for tonight's second leg.

"The first of three finals" is how Arne Slot described Liverpool's 3-1 comeback win over Southampton to go 16 points clear in the Premier League.

The second of those finals comes tonight as Liverpool need a draw or win to progress in the Champions League before Sunday's Carabao Cup final with Newcastle.

Liverpool's dream of achieving the Treble of Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup was ended last month by Plymouth - but they remain firmly in the hunt for three trophies.

"It's a sign of a good team that you can win in different ways," Slot told BBC Match of the Day after the latest victory.

"It was a poor performance first half - not only because of the way we played but also because of the energy we brought."

He added in his post-match news conference: "This was the most important game of the week. The first of three finals. I hope in the next finals we play a bit better than the first one."

Paris St-Germain

Paris St-Germain boss Luis Enrique says whoever wins tonight's last-16 tie at Anfield will "go through to the final" in the Champions League.

"Even though we're trailing, we will be playing our own game from the outset," Enrique said. "Regardless of the result (in Paris) we wouldn't do anything different.

"At the moment we are out so our only option is to go out and win and that is what is driving us.

"I'm not going to give away who we are going to play or how we are going to play. But over the course of two games, we will see two of the best teams in Europe, two contenders for the final and whoever goes through will go through to the final."

The PSG boss is also confident his team will be able to handle the pressure of playing at a "historic stadium".

"We know what Liverpool means with a historic stadium and a wonderful history," he said. "It's a huge source of motivation for the players and we want to show we are capable of putting in a performance.

"It is difficult to manage one's emotions and feelings. These are not easy games to prepare for and it is not easy to be at 100 per cent.

"But you don't want to be at 105 or 110 per cent because you could get carried away so you have to manage your emotions in the best possible way."

Liverpool boss Arne Slot says his side will need to produce their best performance of the season to see off Paris St-Germain and progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Reds were second-best for the majority of their last-16 first leg in Paris last week, but snatched a 1-0 victory thanks to Harvey Elliott's late strike.

It was a memorable result but Slot knows it needs to be backed up with a big performance at Anfield on Tuesday.

"Yes. I do think so," he said, when asked if Liverpool need to be better than they have been in any other game under him so far this season.

"This is the most complete team we have faced so far.

"We have faced Arsenal and Manchester City and they are not big margins but the intensity [PSG] play at combined with the quality - and they are one of the richest clubs - and a great manager it is not easy to play against."

There will be an all-English Champions League quarter-final if Liverpool see off Paris St-Germain and Aston Villa maintain their advantage against Club Bruges.

However, there cannot be an all-English final as the other Premier League side left in, Arsenal, are also in the same half of the draw.

The Gunners thrashed PSV Eindhoven 7-1 in the first leg and are set to play either Real or Atletico Madrid in the last eight.
