It's unacceptable that an established Premier League club in Blackburn has been turned into this and that this has been going on for 15 years. Manager after manager walks away due to Venky's lack of interest and ambition. Nothing gets better for Rovers until new owners arrive.

They have had a lack of investment - that tells you a lot about where the club has been in recent years.
This is a club who has won the Premier League and the lack of ambition from the owners is a bugbear from the fans.

VAR has taken away the sport of refereeing. I'd rather have human error and a debate about it than VAR sucking the fun and emotion out the game.

Image source, PA MediaPeople always tell me the great Alan Shearer was lucky to play alongside me when we won the Premier League together at Blackburn, and I know Al says the same himself regularly too.
This is one of the ties where you think there is a chance of an upset, because of what Wolves boss Vitor Pereira might do - does he go full pelt, or rest a few?
Pereira will make some changes, I am sure of that, because staying in the Premier League will be his priority.
Rovers manager John Eustace has done a phenomenal job to have them in and around the top six, despite not being given any help in terms of signings.
Scoring goals is Rovers' problem - Yuki Ohashi is out injured and Makhtar Gueye is not very prolific - and Andreas Weimann is their top scorer this season with eight.

I am in favour of Goal line technology, even though it would probably have disallowed our first goal last night at Birmingham, because it’s fast and accurate, but VAR would undoubtedly have recommended at least a couple of red cards and reduced a thundering Cup tie into a video game. Maybe we need to differentiate between what’s ‘correct’ and what’s ‘right’ in a sport where many decisions are subjective.

As a Villa fan, I'm worried about today as Spurs have become a bogey team in recent games. Despite them being awful against Liverpool, I am fully expecting them to turn it on against us and make life difficult. I'd bet my hat on Son scoring too, as he loves Villa Park. Wouldn't want to predict the score though!

Venkys are apparently restricted from investing money into Rovers by the Indian government, meaning we are reduced to loan signings. Whatever the truth might be - they need to sell the club. This has gone on for far too long

This will be the first meeting between Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup since the 1960 final, which Wolves won 3-0; that is the most recent final of the competition either side reached.

It's getting repetitive at Rovers, manager makes a good start and we're in a good position, then the owners refuse to back them to make that extra step. Happened with Mowbray, JDT (though there were other issues there), and now Eustace. Whether it's FFP, or Venky's pretending their failed venture doesn't exist, you can't blame the manager for getting fed up.

Aston Villa have progressed from just one of their last six FA Cup ties against Tottenham Hotspur, winning 1-0 at White Hart Lane in a third round replay after a goalless draw at Villa Park in 1992.
Tottenham Hotspur have won nine of their last 10 away games against Aston Villa in all competitions (L1), with their last two wins coming by the same 4-0 scoreline (April 2022 and March 2024).
Aston Villa are looking to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 2014-15, when they eventually reached the final before losing 4-0 to Arsenal.
Tottenham have progressed from four of their last five FA Cup fourth round ties, though did lose 1-0 against Manchester City at this stage of the competition last season.
In the Premier League era (since 1992-93), Son Heung-min has been involved in more FA Cup goals than any other Tottenham player (26 – 14 goals, 12 assists). In that time, only Harry Kane and Jermain Defoe (15 each) have scored more in the competition for Spurs than their current captain.
