This is the first ever FA Cup proper meeting between Kidderminster and Fleetwood. They last met in a non-league match in March 2012, a 2-0 win for the Cod Army.
Since joining the EFL, Fleetwood Town have progressed from all 10 of their FA Cup ties against non-league teams, knocking two out last season alone (Oxford City and Ebbsfleet United).
Kidderminster last played in the FA Cup proper in 2021-22, reaching the fourth round before losing to West Ham. The Carpetmen have progressed from six of their last eight ties (first round onwards) against non-Premier League opposition, including the last three in a row.
Fleetwood manager Lee Johnson has only faced a non-league team once before in the FA Cup and lost that game 1-0 as Barnsley manager against Altrincham in 2015-16.
