Substitute Gustav Lindgren scored his first league goals since April as five-star Peterborough hammered AFC Wimbledon in Luke Williams' first league match in charge.

Dangerman Harry Leonard stroked home Peter Kioso's pin-point cross in the 10th minute to set the hosts on their way.

Five minutes later, the sprightly 22-year-old was hauled down by Isaac Ogundere in the box and stepped up to fire home a powerful penalty.

Steve Seddon forced home stopper Alex Bass into a brilliant save to tip his free-kick over.

Kyrell Lisbie, who hit the post two minutes later, made it three 10 minutes before the break as he took advantage of a mishap at the back to smash home his first league goal for the club.

After the break, Bass tipped Omar Bugiel's header over the bar.

Lindgren then stroked home his first in the 77th minute before he coolly slotted home Posh's fifth in stoppage time as new boss Williams maintained his perfect start to life at London Road following last weekend's FA Cup win.

The visitors have lost three games in a row in all competitions.
