It's not just the Premier League title race that will be hotting up this weekend.

The Women's League Cup final is on Sunday and there's Women's Super League action too. Here's how you can follow all the big matches in the women's game this weekend.

The Premier League has apologised after Nottingham Forest's trip to Tottenham in less than two weeks' time was brought forward by 24 hours.

The fixture, due to take place on Monday, 8 April, will now be at 18:00 BST on Sunday, 7 April because of London Underground and train strikes.

The local authority's Safety Advisory Group deemed the required level of safety for fans was not possible as a result of the action.

The league apologised "unreservedly".

Tottenham said only one of the six stations that serve the stadium will run as normally on 8 April.

A couple of Manchester United transfer snippets head up today's gossip column.

Manchester United have entered the race to sign Spain international Dani Olmo, who has a £52m release clause to leave RB Leipzig this summer. The 25-year-old winger is also interesting Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham.(Daily Mail), external

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe on young midfielder Elliot Anderson: "He is getting there, he looks stronger and more robust. He has trained well the last two weeks. He is a really talented player. I want to see him do well for the remainder of the season."

"We are back at home, we left on a good note in our last game against Wolves and we are desperate to carry that on again. This is a home game, expectation will be on us, so we will attack the game in the way we know we can."

"If we can come through this season with a positive finish, I think we'll look back on a season that's really helped us grow and I think we'll be better for it in every sense. But of course, we have to have that positive ending and that's what we're desperate for."

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe on winger Anthony Gordon making his England debut against Brazil: "It is a really satisfying feeling for me, a sense of pride. I've seen how hard Anthony's had to work for that moment. He has been committed.

"It hasn't been easy for him, he's had to work at every aspect of his game and he's had some difficult moments. But this season he's really flourished and produced some really consistent performances.

"I knew how much it would mean to him and I thought he played really well. It was great to see him and Bruno [Guimaraes] going against each other."

That illness was there and people should look at it that way - not let's throw the book at him and punish him even further because I don't think that gets to the root of the problem.
