Jessica Naz tries to curl an effort around Ann Katrin Berger, but it lacks any sort of pace and the Germany goalkeeper collects it easily.

For Germany it is about game management. They are 4-3 up at Wembley against England, they need to just control it and manage their way through it.

    Another near-miss from Germany.

Vivien Endemann whips the ball into the near post where Hannah Hampton is beaten to the ball by Selina Cerci, who just can't poke it in between the sticks.

Berger has had a bit of a stinker there, she had to come out and catch that ball but it slipped through her hands.

England have a plethora of talent that can come off the bench and make a difference. Sarina has to find a solution.

I genuinely thought Ann-Katrin Berger had caught the ball, I went to look away up the pitch. She comes steaming out of her net, tries to catch the ball and it slips out of her hands. Lucy Bronze gets the chance on a plate ahead of three defenders and cushions the ball into the back of the net.

    Lucy Bronze

It's a howler from Ann Katrin Berger!

Lauren Hemp lofts the ball into the box and it's an easy catch for the German goalkeeper, but she spills it right into the feet of Lucy Bronze who doesn't have much work to do in poking it home.

That was a nasty challenge on Beth Mead, but the Arsenal winger is back up on her feet and England have a free-kick in a dangerous area.

The big talking point is the fact that when England are in the front foot, they are a hard team to break down but there is a disconnect and the gaps are so big, Germany are exploiting it.

    England 2-4 Germany

It is good play from England. Lauren Hemp comes in on her right foot and it is a brilliant finish on her so-called weaker foot. She did just stray offside before the ball was played to her.

Lauren Hemp has her head in her hands.

Keira Walsh lifts a clever through ball to the Manchester City winger, who waltzes past the Germany defence before lashing the ball into the top right corner of the goal.

But once again, the offside flag goes up and England have another goal ruled out.

  15. 'England have to hammer out the issues'published at 21:06 British Summer Time

    England 2-4 Germany

I think this sort of result happening with the experienced players in the side is helpful for England in a way. It is not an excuse that the less experienced players came in to the team and that's why England made mistakes.

This is what we would say is England's 'strongest 11' or most recognised and these mistakes have still happened. They have to hammer out the issues and they don't look so fragile defensively at the Euros.

Unfortunately for Alessia Russo, that's her last involvement as she's subbed off for Chloe Kelly.

We know how good she is scoring goals against Germany at Wembley...
