Brighton goalkeeper Carl Rushworth has joined Championship side Hull City on a season-long loan deal.
The 23-year-old was on loan at Swansea City last season, where he made 48 appearances and won the club's player of the season award.
Brighton's first-team goalkeeping coach Jack Stern said: "This is another good loan for Carl at a level he knows and one at which he acquitted himself well last season.
“It’s an opportunity for him to get more experience in the Championship and to continue his development. We will be watching his progress and wish Carl well for the season ahead.”

New Brighton signing Ferdi Kadioglu says "it is possible to reach the top six" of the Premier League in his first season with the Seagulls.
Kadioglu, 24, joined from Fenerbahce for £25m plus £4.2m in add-ons earlier this week, becoming Fabian Hurzeler's eighth signing of the summer.
"It was a very stressful month for me," he told BBC Radio Sussex. "It took very long but at the end I'm very happy to sign for Brighton. Very excited and can't wait to train with the team.
"Brighton was very interested in me for a long time so that made me feel very special. I had a very long conversation with the coach. His plans were clear and how he wants to play, what he wants to do with me. Also the club is very ambitious. If you see what they have spent this transfer window, they want to achieve something.
"I'm also an ambitious player who wants to improve and I think this is the perfect spot to do it.
"If you look at the first two matches, it's a great start and I think with this team it is possible to reach the top six."
Kadioglu played every minute as Turkey reached the Euro 2024 quarter-finals in Germany and hopes this experience will have prepared him well for the English top flight.
"The Euros were very good for me," he added. "I played good, also we reached the quarter-finals which was a big success for Turkey. The levels of the Euros were very high and hopefully that will make it easier for me to adapt to the Premier League."
Hurzeler has said Kadioglu can play "anywhere" but the Netherlands-born defender says his preference is to be a progressive full-back.
"I prefer to play left-back or right-back," he added.
"I'm a player who likes the ball at my feet, carrying it forward and breaking lines. Also I have a high workrate defensively and offensively. I think the fans can expect a player with a lot of energy."
Brighton have been one of the biggest spenders of this transfer window and may not be done yet as they are looking at teenage striker Conrad Harder, who has impressed with Danish club Nordsjaelland.
Other clubs are also interested so it may not be straightforward.
And it does seem as though they will keep midfielder Billy Gilmour.
Rumours about a move to Napoli have persisted this week - I had been told last week it was unlikely.
However, Thursday's news that Matt O'Riley will have surgery on an ankle injury, suffered on his debut in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, will probably rule out any move to Italy for Gilmour.

We asked for your views on Brighton's transfer window so far, and what needs to be done on transfer deadline day.
Here are some of your comments:
Neil: Need to strengthen our defence. Hope we don't lose Billy Gilmour, especially if it’s only for £15m.
Sam: Keep Tariq Lamptey! We need him!
Ed: Maybe a centre-back. Been waiting years for this spending from Tony, very happy with all signings we have made.

Here's all you need to know about transfer deadline day on Friday...
When does the window close?
The transfer window will close at 23:00 BST on Friday, 30 August for the Premier League, English Football League and Scotland.
The date was brought forward by the domestic leagues to align with European leagues.
Across Europe, the Bundesliga window will close at 19:00, Ligue 1 at 22:00, La Liga at 22:59 and Serie A at 23:00, but the Saudi Pro League transfer window remains open until 7 September.
Can a Premier League player signed on deadline day play this weekend?
Under league rules, new signings are eligible for the next Premier League game if the club submit the required documents by midday on the last working day before that match.
So any player signed after 12:00 on deadline day would be unable to play in this round of Premier League fixtures.
Where can I see all the confirmed transfer deals on deadline day?
Clubs will be able to make transfers again from Wednesday, 1 January until Monday, 3 February at 23:00 GMT. This is the same in Germany, Italy, Spain and France.
How can I follow transfer deadline day on the BBC?

Brighton have won three of their seven Premier League away games against Arsenal (D1 L3). They are one of just three teams to have won more or as many visits to the Emirates as they have lost in the competition, along with Manchester City (W7 L6) and Swansea City (W3 L3).

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has been speaking to the media before Saturday's Premier League game against Arsenal (kick-off 12:30 BST).
Here are the key lines from his news conference:
New signing Matt O'Riley "will need surgery" on his ankle and it is too early to give a timescale for his return.
He said O'Riley "is very disappointed" but remains positive and "says he will be back stronger".
On whether this means Billy Gilmour will remain at the club: "All the decisions we discuss together. There are always arguments for both sides and then we decide what is best for the club. Then the public will see."
He said he feels "grateful and thankful" that the owners have backed him in this transfer window and "it shows the ambition from the club, and that we want to make the next step together".
He confirmed "there will be outgoings" before the window closes on Friday evening but did not elaborate on who.
On opponents Arsenal: "They don’t have a lot of weaknesses and they have solutions for all phases of the game. We need a good day. We go there to win because I think my squad have potential, but we have to respect them because for me they are one of the best teams in the world right now."
He said Pervis Estupinan "is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League" when at his best, so it is a positive that he is back in the fold. Hurzeler added: "We shouldn’t put pressure on him though because after a long injury players need time to adapt."

Brighton full-back Tariq Lamptey could be on the move before Friday's transfer deadline.
The 23-year-old made his first appearance of the season in Tuesday night's EFL Cup win over Crawley.
However, he was an unused substitute in Saturday's Premier League win over Manchester United having recovered from the minor injury that kept him out of the opening day success at Everton, and sources have indicated Brighton would let him leave if their conditions were met.
That is thought to include a loan as long as it contained an obligation to turn it into a permanent deal.

Brighton have made plenty of changes this season. Then again, getting a combined £300m for Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Alexis Mac Allister - among others - in the past couple of campaigns does give you some leeway to splash the cash yourself.
The Seagulls spent big this summer and it looks very good indeed so far.
They aren't worried about their finances clearly, but they aren't cowed by the big names when they swan into town either.
They were at least as good as Manchester United on Saturday, and the biggest thing to underline is that when they did secure the three points through Joao Pedro in the 95th minute, it wasn't really a surprise to anyone.
The Premier League at its best shows little respect even if you are one of the biggest clubs on the planet.
When is the Carabao Cup third-round draw?published at 12:20 28 August 2024

The draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday at the conclusion of the second-round tie between Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.
The seven English clubs involved in European competitions this season, including holders Liverpool, will enter at the third-round stage.
Ties will take place on weeks commencing 16 and 23 September.
Because there are rounds of Champions League and Europa League fixtures also scheduled for those two midweeks, the six clubs involved in those competitions - Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United - will be kept apart to ensure they can fulfil their Carabao Cup tie in the alternate midweek to their European fixture.
Those six clubs will take part in a pre-draw before Forest v Newcastle to decide if they will be at home or away in the third round, with a main draw determining the 16 ties later in the evening.
Should Chelsea progress to the next phase of the Conference League, they will not be in action in that competition again until the start of October.
'I trust the club - they are very good at picking pathways'published at 11:03 28 August 2024

Brighton youngster Mark O'Mahony said he was "delighted" to score his first senior goal in the Carabao Cup second-round win over Crawley Town and revealed it has been "really good" working under new manager Fabian Hurzeler.
The 19-year-old striker replaced the injured Matt O'Riley, who was making his debut after joining from Celtic, as the Seagulls sealed their spot in the third round of the competition.
Speaking to BBC Radio Sussex after the game, O'Mahony said: "It wasn't the best by any means - we know ourselves that it wasn't. You can't complain because we won on the night, so we will take it and move on to the next.
"We knew it would be difficult coming into the game. Their results this season have been good so far and they caused us issues at times. But it was important we kept a clean sheet and scored goals, so we are happy.
"I didn't think it [my goal] was going to come that quick. I did miss one in the first half which I should have put away, so I knew in the back of my head that I had to give it back to the boys. I was delighted."
On working with Hurzeler: "It has been different, but it has been good. The lads and I are starting to understand the whole new set-up and, to be fair, pre-season and the start of the season has shown that we are doing well with it. There are still areas to improve on, but it has been really good."
On whether he will be staying at the club this season: "It is in the club's hands. I know they are very good at picking pathways for young players and, whatever that means after this game, I trust the club.
"We will have to wait and see. It is nice knowing the club is giving young players a chance."
Brighton 4-0 Crawley - the fans' verdictpublished at 09:45 28 August 2024
09:45 28 August 2024
We asked for your thoughts after Tuesday's Carabao Cup game between Brighton and Crawley Town.
Here are some of your comments:
Andrew: Went to the Amex and watched a very competitive match. Crawley made it a tough game at times against what might be described as our second team. However, we were packed with talent and energy and our class shone through. Towards the end we were creating chances at will. Added spice at the end when Crofts and the Crawley manager squared up.
Mick: A difficult game, poorly refereed. Typical lower league, physical team. Clinical finishing from Brighton. Some good performances - Baleba, Sarmiento, Enciso and Webster the pick of the bunch. The injury to O'Riley looked serious but went unpunished. We wish him the best. Look forward to playing a more accomplished team in the next round. Keep the faith.
David: Crawley looked like a team, Brighton a group of 10 who just met up for a game - which I suppose they were with so many new players. Four more goals and a clean sheet is admirable and we can only improve with more games played.
Liam: We were a bit dodgy in the first 29 minutes but the goal settled our nerves a bit. In the second half it was all Brighton, leaving Crawley behind in the dust.
Peter: I went to the U21 match last Tuesday at Crawley and it was a similar team that came (in my eyes) to kick us off the park. I can only hope that O’Riley will be OK. As to the match, Crawley did have the majority of the match (unusual for the Albion) and, with better finishing, could have scored.
Colin: I fail to understand why you would risk a player signed on Monday for £25m plus in a meaningless game. I think this was gross mismanagement.

Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler, speaking to BBC Radio Sussex after the Carabao Cup second-round win over League One Crawley Town: "I was not happy with the performance. I don't think we were ruthless enough in individual duels or aggressive enough. We played more as individuals than as a team and I wasn't happy with us in or out of possession.
"But you have to win these games and they are really tough against lower-ranked clubs because they give 100%. I am happy to win because it is also part of the process."
On Jay Williams' crunching tackle on debutant Matt O'Riley: "You cannot tackle like this because it is one where you take the risk of injuring another player. He was not given a red card, so the emotion in the game just got higher. It got really intense but it was the referee's decision [not to send him off] and we have to accept it.
"The injury does not look good. As he came off the pitch he couldn't put any weight on his ankle, so we have to scan it and then see what happens."

Hurzeler 'excited' by new signing Kadioglupublished at 19:45 27 August 2024

Brighton have signed a "great character" in Ferdi Kadioglu, says head coach Fabian Hurzeler.
The 24-year-old has joined from Fenerbahce for £25m on a four-year contract until June 2028, subject to international clearance and a successful work permit application.
During six seasons in the Super Lig, he played 204 games for the Turkish giants, scoring 18 goals, and in 2023 he won the Turkish Cup.
Kadioglu has also been capped 20 times by Turkey and played every minute of their run to the quarter-finals at Euro 2024.
Hurzeler said: "I'm very excited because we are getting an excellent player and a great character. He has great ability, is a strong runner and very good at passing.
"He is predominantly a full-back and can play on the right or left side. He can also play in the centre of midfield.
"He is someone who is very keen to learn and develop, and with that in mind I'm confident he will adjust to the Premier League and adapt quickly to English football."
