Premier League fixtures released on Tuesday morningpublished at 19:00 17 June
19:00 17 June
The 2024-25 Premier League fixtures are being released on Tuesday at 09:00 BST - and you will see them on the BBC Sport website and app as soon as they are announced.
What should you look out for?
By chief football news reporter Simon Stone
Matches around European games
This will be even more keenly assessed than usual given the four clubs in the Champions League and two in the Europa League will have eight first-phase games rather than six. Long trips before or after European games do not go down well with managers.
Matches around internationals
There are international breaks in September, October, November and March. In Europe, the first three of those are for Nations League fixtures. World Cup qualifiers in Europe start in March 2025, though in South America and Asia they are being played in all four windows.
England managers tend not to be keen on blockbuster league matches immediately before a break and club bosses are equally unhappy at having to play key matches after them when so many players get back on Thursday or Friday.
Festive fixtures
To allow for a mid-August start, there will not be a winter break this season. The Premier League has assured clubs they will not be asked to play twice in less than 60 hours at any point over Christmas and New Year. That rules out any club playing on 26 December also having a game on 28 December. There will be no Christmas Eve fixture in the 2024-25 season.
As the FA Cup third round has been moved from its traditional home on the first weekend of January to the second, it does seem there will be four rounds of fixtures over the festive period - starting on 21 December and ending on 5 January.
New managers
Four Premier League clubs already have new managers - Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Arne Slot (Liverpool) and Julen Lopetegui (West Ham) - with a fifth to come at Leicester. So that's a new era beginning at 25% of clubs before a ball has been kicked. Russell Martin will take charge of a top-flight game for the first time after Southampton's promotion.
'The world is a lesser place without super Kevin Campbell'published at 12:30 17 June
12:30 17 June
We asked for some of your best memories of former Nottingham Forest striker Kevin Campbell, who died on Saturday aged 54.
Here are some of your submissions:
Tim: Kevin Campbell was a fantastic player for Nottingham Forest. He could score all kinds of goals; poacher goals, one-on-ones, from outside the box and off either foot. His partnership with Pierre van Hooijdonk was electric and so were his celebrations. Always at least a 7/10 performance.
Thomas: I've met a few people from the footballing world over the years, but never have I met anyone warmer than Kevin Campbell. A super human being, who had time for everyone. The world is a lesser place without super Kevin Campbell.
Peter: A wonderful and likeable professional, who met challenges of those times with class and finesse. Excellent role model for those that followed.
Nick: August 1996 and Kevin Campbell scored a hat-trick at Coventry in the first game of the season. The first game I went to with both my children. A brilliant day, but I don't think Forest won again until November and they ended up getting relegated! The following season in the Championship, Campbell and Van Hooijdonk were unstoppable.
Stanley: A beautiful footballer who knew how to find the net with finesse and composure, which entertained the thousands. Campbell came across as a gentle and likeable person, who had time for human beings without discrimination.

Nottingham Forest said former striker Kevin Campbell "will always be remembered" by everyone at the club.
Campbell's death, aged 54, was announced on Saturday morning after a short illness.
He spent three seasons at Forest between 1995 and 1998, scoring 35 goals in 97 appearances.
Former goalkeeper Mark Crossley, who played alongside Campbell, said: "Life can be so cruel at times.
"Absolutely devastated with news of my ex-Forest team-mate Kevin Campbell's passing. A true gentleman, a great player, a shining light of a dressing room, fun-loving guy. Thoughts are with all his family and friends. RIP mate."
The club added: "Our thoughts are with Kevin's friends and family during this difficult time."
Buy one, sell one, loan one out - your pickspublished at 18:42 13 June
18:42 13 June
If you could only buy one, sell one, and loan out one player at Nottingham Forest, who would you pick?
That was the question we asked you to answer, with the transfer window set to open on Friday.
Here are some of your thoughts:
Josh: Buy: Tammy Abraham - we need a proper number nine who is going to stay fit all season. Sell: Matt Turner or Odysseas Vlachodimos - neither of them are good enough for the Premier League. Loan: Brandon Aguilera - he showed his talent last season and a loan to a Championship club that will give him game time will benefit him massively.
John: Buy: Angel Gomes - he can play all across the midfield and he is still young. Sell: Matt Turner - he has no impact on the squad and has been poor since signing for us. Loan: Detlef Esapa Osong - this would be smart as he is a young striker with good potential.
Zachary: Buy: Elye Wahi - we need a forward from a European top-five league and I think Wahi would be possible. Sell: Matt Turner - with our three goalkeepers, he is not getting much game time and we are wasting our money.
Justyn: Buy: Che Adams - I would look at getting him from Southampton on a free because he would give us some cover up front and he has the chance to be the natural successor to Chris Wood. Sell: Murillo - cash in on him and make a big profit. Loan: Gio Reyna - give him a full pre-season with us.
Mark: Buy: Tammy Abraham - a similar player to Lewis Grabban. Sell: Matt Turner - a poor goalkeeper who is not needed. Loan: Omar Richards - unsure of his recovery from injury but I would give him a bit longer to prove himself.

'They have a great manager, he just needs the right balance'published at 14:51 11 June
14:51 11 June
Nottingham Forest legend Stuart Pearce has spoken to BBC Radio Nottingham about the European Championship, which kicks off on Friday.
"It's a wide open tournament. England have got some brilliant youngsters. They've got a great manager in charge - he's just got to find the right balance in the team," said the former Reds defender and manager.
"The game against Serbia won't be easy but if we can get off with a victory, the excitement will go through the roof, as it always does.
"I love it. I'm off to Germany for the whole tournament to cover games and I love the big tournaments."
Pearce, who represented England at three major tournaments, added: "I love international football - it was a great part of my life and I think it's exciting times ahead.
"Playing for your country is the pinnacle of anything you can do as a player."
Premier League clubs in race for Adamspublished at 11:41 11 June

Wolves and Nottingham Forest remain the favourites in the race for Southampton striker Che Adams - despite interest from clubs in Italy, the United States and Saudi Arabia.
The 27-year-old is available on a free transfer and yet to sign a new contract at St Mary's, although the Saints have been in talks over a new deal.
The forward has options abroad, including in Serie A, but Molineux or the City Ground are the most likely destinations as it stands.
Adams is with the Scotland squad preparing for Friday's Euro 2024 opener against hosts Germany in Munich and his future is unlikely to be resolved before the start of the tournament.
Last season, he scored 18 goals to help Russell Martin's Southampton to an instant return to the Premier League after winning the Championship play-offs.
Since a £15m move from Birmingham in 2019, Adams has netted 49 goals in 191 appearances.
Premier League 2024-25 - what you need to knowpublished at 12:00 7 June
12:00 7 June
The 2023-24 Premier League season may have only just finished but there is only 10 weeks until the 2024-25 season is scheduled to start.
So what are the key dates that you need to know?
When does the season start and finish?
The 2024-25 Premier League campaign will get under way during the weekend of 17-18 August.
It will take place over 33 weekends, with four midweek rounds and one Bank Holiday matchweek.
To allow for a mid-August start, there will not be a 'winter break' this time around. However, to avoid Christmas and New Year fixture congestion, the league will give more rest time to sides over three of the festive match rounds, with no club playing within 60 hours of another match.
The final round of fixtures will be played on Sunday, 25 May 2025, with all games to kick off at the same time.
When are the fixtures released?
09:00 BST on Tuesday, 18 June.
We will have all the details here for your club as soon as the fixtures are released.
The summer window will officially open on Friday, 14 June, which also happens to be the start of Euro 2024, and will remain open until Friday, 30 August at 23:00 BST.
Transfer deadline day has been brought forward this year to be in line with the other major leagues in Europe. The closing dates were set following discussions with the leagues in England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France.

'It caused more problems than it did good' published at 15:36 6 June
15:36 6 June
Mark Clattenburg spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live on Thursday, reflecting on his time in an advisory role at Nottingham Forest last season.
"I wasn't a referee consultant," he said. "I think there was a misinterpretation of what my role was. I was an advisor to the owner and to the board.
"He [Forest's owner Evangelos Marinakis] wanted to understand English football, the English culture, he wanted to understand English refereeing, so there were a lot of different aspects to my role.
"I didn't speak to the referees before the game, and I haven't been a referee for seven years in the Premier League so I don't really know this new batch of referees. However, I knew the interpretation, I understood what was going on in football in England, so I used to pass on my expertise and my knowledge about the English game, not just refereeing."
When asked if his time at the club was a success, Clattenburg added: "No, because if you look, it caused more problems than it did good. There were certain things that we implemented within the club, certain ways to give a sporting edge to Nottingham Forest, but there seemed to be a huge outcry from certain people, certain bodies, certain companies.
"What I found difficult was that I haven't been a referee for seven years, so therefore I don't owe the Premier League or the PGMOL anything. I was employed by them, I refereed and I gave them my services. I should have been allowed to pass my services on, but it seemed to cause problems and I was highlighted every week and it just caused a problem.
"I thought it was the right thing to leave, to give the club a chance to stay in the Premier League, because it didn't matter what, they were still getting wrong decisions against."
What is Forest's summer priority?published at 12:49 6 June
12:49 6 June
We asked for what you think should be the number one priority for Nottingham Forest this summer.
Here are some of your responses:
Peter: First priority is to ensure we don't fall foul of PSR. We all know it's flawed, but we can't afford to have another points deduction. After this, quality over quantity is the recruitment aim.
Chris: Keep our top attacking players if at all possible. I'm worried we'll sell Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi amongst others.
Tony: A firm commitment to stay at the City Ground.
Si: Forest's number one priority should be confirming Nuno is the man in charge. Publicly back him, give the club some stability so we can grow next season. And then a nice quiet summer please!
Jacob: We need a Premier League-proven striker that can easily score 20 goals a season, or a Premier League-proven solid midfielder that can hold it all together, otherwise I feel we are OK.
Kouyate & McKenna among six senior players releasedpublished at 12:15 5 June

Nottingham Forest have confirmed that midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate and centre-back Scott McKenna are among six senior players who will leave the Premier League club this summer at the end of their contracts.
Harry Arter, Wayne Hennessey, Loic Mbe Soh and the retiring Felipe will also be departing.
Kouyate had four-year spells at both West Ham and Crystal Palace before joining Forest in the summer of 2022 and made 36 appearances for the club.
Centre-back McKenna, who helped Forest win promotion from the Championship in 2021-22, ended the season on loan at Danish club FC Copenhagen.

Cooper spoke 'amazingly well' despite facing sackpublished at 10:31 31 May
10:31 31 May
On the latest episode of the Shut Up and Show More Football podcast, BBC Radio Nottingham's Colin Fray breaks down his favourite interviews of the 2023-24 season.
One that is likely to particularly resonate with Forest fans is Fray's interview with Steve Cooper after the disastrous 5-0 defeat away to Fulham in December 2023. During the defeat the travelling fans repeatedly chanted Cooper's name but the beloved manager who led the club back to the Premier League after 24 years was sacked just under two weeks later.
"I thought that was the last time we were going to be hearing from Steve Cooper," Fray told the podcast. "He did last a couple more matches.
"I always thought that some of the times he spoke best was when the club was really struggling, the team was struggling for points, and this was a real dip.
"To go to Fulham on a night where many thought his job was on the line and lose 5-0 was as down as you can get and yet I still thought that he spoke amazingly well and in amazingly humble tones.
"Of course that was the night the fans were signing his name and giving him huge support again. It almost felt like it was a goodbye from the crowd as well, he stood in front of them at the end and was waving and thanking them and kept tapping his heart.
"This was another occasion where he spoke really, really well in adversity.
"It will be interesting to see where Cooper goes next. I'm sure he will not be short of offers and will be choosing very carefully where the next port of call is for him."
