Wales boss baffled that 'not everyone' knows who Fishlock is

Wales head coach Rhian Wilkinson finds it “incredulous” that more people do not know who Jess Fishlock is as the midfielder chases the Wales all-time goal-scoring record on Tuesday against Kosovo.

Fishlock’s strike against Croatia on Friday moved her level with Helen Ward on 44 international goals, meaning she now has the chance to break the record at Llanelli’s Parc y Scarlets in the Euro 2025 qualifier.

And boss Wilkinson says the opportunity to coach Fishlock is a huge honour.
