Wales should be 'proud of reaching Euros' despite early exit
Wales midfielder Sophie Ingle says the team should be proud of reaching the Euros despite a tough group that saw defeats by the Netherlands, France and England.
Ingle also says she knew she would not be 100% for Euro 2025 as she recovered from a serious ACL injury in September 2024, missing the entire WSL season.
She recovered in time to be named in Rhian Wilkinson's squad, playing a handful of minutes from the bench against France.
Now at new club Bristol City, the 34-year-old midfielder is hoping to regain the sharpness and confidence she had prior to her knee injury as she seeks to add to her 142 caps.
