Cardiff boss Bulut seeking further reinforcements

Cardiff City manager Erol Bulut is targeting further signings before the start of the Championship season in August.

Bulut says he knows what positions need strengthening, but expects to sign fewer players than the 10 he brought in last summer.

Both new signings Chris Willock and Callum Chambers were not involved in Tuesday's 7-1 friendly win over Penybont, but they will travel to Austria this week for a three game pre-season tour.

The manager is comfortable with higher expectations this season following last term's 12th-placed finish and hopes that key players like Callum O'Dowda and Wales captain Aaron Ramsey can avoid injury and threaten the top six in the Championship.
